Hey girls

How do you get your baby to sleep in this hot weather?
My little guy of 5 months has a romper with long sleeves and a sleep sack on and lies under a blanket.
But earlier he was so hot that I took off his sleep sack, but then you'll see that he woke up last night because he's lying in his crib.
I'm curious how you get your little ones to sleep.

Greetings

With warm weather, you can also put your little one in a romper with short sleeves, inside a sleeping bag, and just put a sheet over them and take off the blanket. Our daughter has sometimes slept just in a diaper and a sleeping bag with a sheet over her. She likes to have something over her. Open all the windows beforehand to air out the room. If your baby is 5 months old, you can also keep the windows open at night, just make sure they're not in a draft. Otherwise, keep the window closed and just open one side of the house / upper floor.

    Good luck

    Hi everyone,

Our girl is 4 months old. And now with this warm weather, she just lies in a short-sleeved onesie in her crib. And under her sheets. (She never sleeps in a sleeping bag.) Because the sun shines on the windows all day, it gets way too hot up there! The curtains are drawn all day and the windows are tilted open, yet it still heats up to 26 degrees! That's veeeeery much too warm! So yesterday our girl slept in her onesie without any blankets and she snored so sweetly from 8 pm to 7 am this morning! And she was soaking wet with sweat!!

    Love,

    Hi hi

Our little boy is in his long-sleeved romper and just a sleeveless sleep sack, no sheet or blanket because it flies off just as fast.

Just in a onesie and a swaddle blanket, my little boy is only 3 weeks old and already kicks off the blanket himself, hehe! How wise!

Here’s a pretty cool house, Lucas sleeps in a sleeping bag, with pajamas, a sheet, and 2 blankets.
Yesterday I tried just 1 blanket but his temp was 36.2 and that's too low for him.
He doesn’t hold his temp so well yet and the pediatrician already said it’s probably a boy who’ll be shivering from the cold at swimming lessons with blue lips standing on the side (he looks like his mom ).

So I check his temp from time to time when the weather changes and based on that, I adjust his bedding.

Keep the windows closed during the day so the heat stays outside, and use the curtains to keep most of the heat out (as much as possible). As soon as it starts to cool down outside, I open ALL the windows so it cools down quickly. When I put my little one (4 months) to sleep upstairs, a few windows do get closed again. In his room, I can safely leave the window open; he’s not in a draft. He sleeps in a short-sleeved romper and in his summer sleeping bag.

Good luck! Your little one will let you know when they’re too cold or too warm.
