My little boy is quite sick! He’s coughing really badly and his little nose is completely blocked. The doctor said it’s just a cold and that we should just wait it out. We did get a prescription, but we’re only supposed to give it if he has a fever, which he luckily doesn’t. I just feel so bad for him! Is there really nothing I can do or give him? What do you all do when your little one is sick? Love

    It looks so sad for those little ones.
    I always find that so pitiful.
    What I find really helpful for colds is the Otrivin baby saline nasal spray, and you can also get a box with a tube to gently suck out the mucus (sounds gross but it really works super well).

    So sad that he's sick (hopefully he's feeling better by now because I saw it's been a few days).
    I use Daro saline solution. I find it better than Otrivin because you can use this multiple times and the Otrivin I had only a few times.
    Also a trip to the bedroom, it smelled terrible but I did it anyway.

    And yes, such a pump (I call it a snot sucker) to suck the little nose clean a bit.

    I also used a saline solution and indeed sucked it out with that pear-shaped thing He found it quite unpleasant but it did work! He's already looking much better, still a bit of a cough and a few drops a day but it's going much better already, and he's sleeping again thankfully! Next time (hopefully it won't come) I'll try that loop, think that would be nice for the night! Thanks for your advice! Love, Manon

    Yes, I still remember it from my other little boy; he was always runny-nosed and cold, I was so desperate.. But then there was no forum where women shared everything, so I'm so glad I can advise other women.. I'm glad your little boy has recovered, nothing wrong if your baby is sick....And yes, they will all get sick at some point but of course you'd rather not.....

    And you know they build up immunity...
