I think I'm in a similar situation. I got Provera to start on July 22nd, and then Clomid after that. Probably the first ultrasound in August to see if the Clomid works. I have 3 weeks of vacation, but we haven't booked anything yet since we already went on holiday this year. If the weather is good, we'll stay home. We just have to make do, so I guess I'll have to accept that it'll still take a few weeks or months. I just hope this works out, then I won't have to complain anymore. It's not exactly easy though.

Yes, Aap is exactly the same as with me.
In exactly the same week/date too..
Well, that's going to take a bit
But girl, keep your head up..
It'll be okay someday, even if it's sometimes really hard to accept..
Who knows, maybe Clomid will work right away in the first round and you'll be pregnant immediately!
I probably have to wait even longer, because after the holidays I might get my knee operated on. Hope not, but if it does happen, there's nothing I can do about it.

Are you and your man/friend getting checked out?

If you want, you can keep me updated, maybe you'll find it nice to talk to someone who's going through exactly the same thing!

Yeah, I definitely find that nice, which is why I started looking for and posting on forums.
My boyfriend also has to provide a sperm sample next week so they can rule out whether or not it's an issue.

Yeah, that's true too—if you need surgery, you need it. It's annoying, but it won't be for nothing. It'll probably help with something else, I guess. Are you guys already trying?

I just hope it works out this year. I don't really dare to think too positively right now. I'm trying to keep a broader perspective so it doesn't feel like a letdown.

Okay, let's do that then, girl!

My boyfriend also has to give a sample on Monday..
I'm crossing my fingers really hard that the knee surgery doesn't go ahead, but we'll see.

I've had problems with my cycle since August '12. I was still on the pill back then, but my withdrawal bleed kept not coming. I went to the gynecologist to rule out pregnancy. We weren't trying yet (I was still studying) but were very disappointed that we weren't pregnant then... so I ended up quitting school AND the pill on November 1st, '12 to really go for it! I haven't had a period since.

Have you been off the pill for 9 months now, and have you been trying from the very beginning? Or did you wait for your cycle to return first?

I also hope it works out this year. Secretly, I'm hoping for mid-September. My sister-in-law is due then, and it would be really nice to be pregnant when she gives birth.

I’m rooting with you that the knee surgery doesn’t go ahead. I didn’t know you could get withdrawal bleeding when you’re on the pill. How long have you been taking the pill? I’ve been on it for about 10 years, and before that, I was very irregular for 4 years.

We weren’t exactly in a rush either. We’ve been trying since April. And only my best friend knows about it; we really want to keep it a surprise. If I can hope, I hope around that time, Aug/Sept :-)
