Baby carriers

Hi
I'm looking for a baby wrap for when the little one is born.
But I have no idea which is better: a wrap or a carrier (belt).
Anyone here with experience?

    @Yv,

    A baby carrier, because a baby wrap supposedly isn't good for the hips in the long run...

    Good luck..

    I use a wrap for our little boy, who's almost 3 months old, and I find it really ideal. It takes a bit of figuring out at first how tight to tie it, but after two or three tries, you get the hang of it. The wrap is indeed better for the hips because the knees sit higher than the hips. Also, the baby's body is better supported since the wrap molds to the body.
    Samuël and I both enjoy it when he's in the wrap.
    Greetings

    I used to carry my firstborn in the BabyBjörn carrier sometimes, just for car trips, shopping, and back. In the car, he was in the Maxi-Cosi as soon as the shopping was done. But mostly I walked with him in the stroller. Now with the second one, I used a flexible wrap to help with colic crying, but I easily walk for three hours around the flea markets with him (and the oldest in the small buggy). Oh yeah, now that I'm using this ByKay wrap, the BabyBjörn suddenly feels ridiculously heavy and cuts into my shoulders .

    The wrap does feel more comfortable, but after two hours I can't wear it anymore either. It probably depends on your posture, I think. But I found the baby carrier absolutely terrible!

    I made the wrap myself. Some are very expensive, and this was a good solution.

    I've bought a baby wrap in the meantime. Perfect. Hands-free and no crying baby haha
    I can at least cook.
    I got a tricot sling from the brand Babylonia. €49.95
