Implantation pain, does anyone know what that is....??

I now have a contraction-like / period-like feeling with sharp twinges in my lower abdomen.
If all goes well, I just ovulated.
Naturally, we got busy and now this weird feeling...
I can't place it..

Is it the ovulation I'm feeling or the implantation....
I've never felt it before..

    Hey,

    I also had implantation pain.
    But I have to say that I couldn't really describe it as period-like with sharp twinges; for me, it felt more like someone was stabbing me in the belly with knives.
    I had to lie in bed for an hour, the pain really made me sick. I think I had that pain 3 times a week.

    But maybe everyone experiences it differently; I certainly didn't have a pleasant experience with it

    Oh 8( that doesn't sound nice.....

    Well, I experience it as unpleasant, but not very painful...
    Wait and see...

    Did your pregnancy go well then???
  3. Monkey #4

    It wasn't nice either
    What I do remember is that the day after I had the implantation pain for the first time, I asked my mom if she knew what it could be, and all she said was, 'Go get a pregnancy test right away!' And a few days later, with the first test, patat. Positive!

    My pregnancy went super well, no complications at all.
    I couldn't have wished for anything better

    Anyway, let me know how it turned out? I'm quite curious!

    Glad to hear everything went well!

    I'll let you know if I find out more.

    I didn't have implantation pain, but for a week I had the feeling that I was going to get my period really badly, which would be quite early. I kept going to the toilet to see if it had started, and it made me grumpy ;-) After 8 days, still no period, so I took a test.

    But here too, no specific implantation pain, no light bleeding, just the feeling that I was going to get my period. That's also the tricky part – it feels exactly the same as getting your period.

    @Lin,

    I'm pretty sure Sanne is pregnant because it says she's 23 weeks pregnant now.
    I've never had this feeling before and can't remember it either.
    It seems strange to feel it.
    I hope you're pregnant too.

    Love, Ju

    Hi there,

    I really had a lot of pain, I could barely stand up straight! I didn't know what it was, since we weren't really trying. In the end, it was the implantation that caused such pain. I haven't had any issues elsewhere during my pregnancy, I'm 6.5 weeks now!

    Love,
    Angelique

    @Angelique,

    Hey hey girl, that must have felt really unpleasant..
    OOh so exciting still a little while and then.....

    I hope you have a lovely last few weeks with your pregnancy.

    Big hug Ju or rather mavanmi

    @mavanmi oh I can't see that.
    Maybe send the messages via your phone, that might be why it's not coming through..

    Oh exciting then if you still have a bit of time...

    I was too curious so I already tested... Negative... But it's obviously still very early. I'll wait a bit longer anyway. My period is due around May 29th.

    I also had period-like twinges/cramps. I could clearly feel that something was happening in my uterus. I was standing at the fry stand at the time and already told my man, I think I might be pregnant. It was way too early for a period and I know my body pretty well. A week later I had my first positive test and now I'm 30 weeks pregnant. If you just ovulated, it would also be way too early to test. Exciting for you!

    Oh wow... Congratulations on your pregnancy!!

    I still have some pain, but it's much less than before....
    Still waiting to see.... I hate this...
  15. RJ #16

    When do you expect your period? Mine started about 4 days after ovulation, and a week later I had my first positive test. This was a test you can take 4 days before your expected period. Three days after that test, I had a positive digital test. Waiting is exciting and can feel like it takes forever! Hopefully, you'll get some clarity soon.

    Yeah, I don't know exactly yet...
    I just stopped the pill (April 1st) and there were 32 days between my withdrawal bleed and the first period... But yeah, that doesn't mean much I guess.... But if there were 32 days in between again, it would be June 3rd...
    With my first pregnancy, I was also pregnant right after the first period...
    I'm not assuming that again now, but...

    Hi everyone,

    I also had those implantation cramps around 3-4 days after ovulation. My partner and I are trying for a baby, but since this is only the second time I've been naturally due for my period, we haven't been super active about it. Now I'm already two weeks late and constantly tired, nauseous, and feeling sick. For the past few days, I've had restless bowels and a pulling sensation on both sides of my pubic bone. I'm also starting to get more burps and heartburn. I also feel like my nipples have changed (bigger/some kind of white spots around them). The weird thing is that I keep getting negative tests!! I'm going crazy, so I've made an appointment with my GP for tomorrow.

    Does anyone else have experience with this? I just needed to get it off my chest, because my partner is starting to go crazy too by now ;-)

    don't know what it was, but in any case, no implantation. Got my period again today...

    I had a painful, really painful stab in my belly when I tested positive 3 days later. So I clearly felt the implantation. It felt like the kind of stab you feel when you're getting your period. At first I thought it was just that, but when it didn't continue, I intuitively understood that an egg was implanting in my uterus. I only experienced this with my first daughter; with my second child, I felt no implantation at all. I also...
