Hey there, I stopped taking my pill after 11 days, and the next day I got my period. So I took a 7-day break, but I heard that means I forgot 7 pills because I didn’t finish the pack. I did have sex during that break though—am I still protected? The sex words dictionary said I wasn’t safe anymore, but I got a bit confused with all the different opinions :s Thanks in advance!

    Hi, I'm not sure if you're safe or not. Are you taking the pill again, or did you stop intentionally?

    That's tricky, I don't have a break week, it's just built into my pill.
    So I always keep taking a pill while there are 7 pills that basically do nothing,
    I don't even know which ones they are..
    I'd definitely call a doctor.
    Every pill is different and you'd better ask the person who prescribed it to you, I think.

    Thanks for the replies. I called the doctor on Saturday, and she told me I should definitely take a test.
