I had an internal ultrasound last Friday. They didn't see anything, then they took a blood sample and the hCG level was 196. I had bleeding for a week. Today I took a test and it's positive, 2-3 weeks pregnant, same result as 2 weeks ago.
My question is: is the same result because I probably had a miscarriage or is the test just unreliable?

Hi, I'm 1-2 weeks pregnant according to Clear Blue. What does that exactly mean? Am I still in the implantation phase, or am I already really pregnant?

    You're about 4 weeks pregnant now ...
    Congratulations on your pregnancy..

Hey, how are you doing now?

    Maybe a weird question,
To keep a long story short. Last Saturday, exactly 3 weeks ago, I had sex with a girl. She took a Clearblue test which shows she's now 2-3 weeks pregnant. If I look at the reactions here, that would mean she's already 4-5 weeks pregnant. So my question is, how accurate is this? By the way, she said her cycle is 28 days and always on time.

    Looking forward to your responses,

Anonymous, 2-3 weeks is roughly 4-5 weeks pregnant. The pregnancy test is pretty accurate, but you really only know for sure after an ultrasound...
May I ask why you're asking so specifically?
Do you have doubts? That's how it sounds?

Thanks for your quick reply! It hasn't come that far yet regarding the ultrasound. As I described earlier, last Saturday (07-05) was exactly three weeks ago that I first became sexually active with her. Then we did a test last Friday (06-05) with CB, which showed that she is 2-3 weeks pregnant. And according to the theory on this forum, that means she is already 4-5 weeks pregnant! Hence my doubt! Whether it is possible that she had sex with someone else before that.

Because it all seems to have happened so fast. That she already knew within 3 weeks after the sexual intercourse with me, that she was pregnant by me?!

Hence my question whether this is possible?

    Looking forward to your responses.

    Greetings,

Anonymous, have a chat with your "girlfriend"—anything is possible, of course..
I’m just thinking, based on an ultrasound, you’ll get more clarity..
And naturally, from your "girlfriend" herself..
Because 2-3 weeks could mean 4-5 weeks, but it could also be 4 weeks and 3 days..
That’s why I suggest you have a conversation..
In that case, you’ve had a lucky shot, I’d say
By the way, are you happy about it?

At my place, the Clearblue showed 2-3 on November 4th, then 1-2 on November 9th and 16th, and today it's back to 2-3. Has anyone here experienced this?

One time the urine is more concentrated than the other, you shouldn't attach too much importance to the result of that test. You're just pregnant, so enjoy it now!

I had a question: my last period was on February 29th, but I only had sex on March 7th. So how can I be pregnant already? If I count by weeks, I'm 36 weeks pregnant, but if I count by days, it's 275 days, which equals 40 weeks. That seems really weird to me.

I'm 1-2 weeks pregnant. How many weeks am I approximately really pregnant?

According to Clearblue, I'm 1-2 weeks pregnant, and my last period was exactly 14 days ago today.

Hi everyone, I'm really a bit confused. After my break week, I stopped the pill. A month later, of course, I got my period. So my last period was on July 25, 2017. Five days later, I had 3 positive pregnancy tests. Last Monday, I suddenly started bleeding. Went to the hospital on Tuesday night. Had an internal ultrasound. To my surprise, I'm not 7 weeks pregnant but 4 weeks. But last night I lost quite a bit of blood again. Monday is my first appointment with the midwife (was already scheduled because I thought I'd be 8 weeks pregnant by then). Does anyone have experience with my situation? I'm very worried. Thanks in advance!

Anonymous, that could be true... Clearblue test from conception... So conception happened 2-3 weeks ago. That matches 4 to 5 weeks of pregnancy (from the last period).

I also tested for 2-3 weeks at the beginning of the week.
I already had an appointment with the gynecologist. But she couldn't see a clear pregnancy on the internal ultrasound, so blood was drawn and my HCG is 226.. isn't that really low? I'm allowed to come back on Monday or Tuesday evening to have blood drawn again to see if there's an increase. I really want to go on Monday, or would you choose Tuesday instead??

According to Clear Blue, I'm also 2-3 weeks pregnant. My last period was on March 29th, so I'm currently 4 weeks and 6 days pregnant, hopefully. I have my first ultrasound on May 20th, so exciting!!!

To avoid confusion: if you test positive, implantation has already occurred. Otherwise, your body wouldn't produce hCG. Ovulation usually happens about 14 days after your last period, and implantation follows 5 to 9 days later. It's hard to pinpoint the exact implantation date if you have an irregular cycle, and even then, because the egg can implant earlier or later. You are pregnant; "2-3 weeks" means you're about 4 or 5 weeks pregnant. But since you're at NOD, you're likely around 4 weeks pregnant. The midwife will determine how far along you are with a dating scan. Congratulations on your pregnancy!

Anonymous, I can't give 100% certainty, but after 3 weeks, I think you won't have a positive test yet. I don't think implantation has even occurred. I think it's quite early if CB indicates 2-3. With me, it showed 1-2 at that stage. But that varies from woman to woman and hCG production.
Again, I can't say for sure; she might have a shorter cycle.

I think she's already given birth by now, this is months old!
