According to Clearblue, 2-3 weeks pregnant. When does implantation start?

According to Clearblue, I'm 2-3 weeks pregnant and my first appointment with the midwife is on May 21st.
Now I was wondering if I'll already be able to see something on the ultrasound at that point, and whether the egg has already fully implanted??

I hope to hear from you soon!!

I had my first ultrasound at 8 weeks and 4 days, and now I'm 34 weeks and 3 days

And that was external; if you go too early, it has to be internal
Isn't 2-3 not over 5 weeks? I don't remember that so well anymore.

    Hi Irma,

    I have no idea.
My question is then: After how many weeks is it implanted??

    Cheers, Claudia

you have to count from your last period, ovulation happens about 2 weeks later if you have a regular cycle, right? because the first 2 weeks are kind of like a gift. then implantation happens a few days later, some people lose a bit of blood then, others don't. and then you wait to see if you get your period. but i felt it pretty quickly, i was really tired and had sore breasts...

Okay. Normally I should get my period around May 6th now.
That will probably not come. I assume it's implanting now or maybe already implanted. Today is April 27th, so 9 days until May 6th, that should be enough time for it to implant, so I don't expect a period anymore. even though I have irregular periods.

    I'll keep you posted.

    Cheers, Danny

um, don't snap at me, sorry. So you still need to get your necessary day?
But if the test is positive, will it be like that??

My next period was supposed to be on May 6th, but since I'm pregnant, that won't happen anymore. At least with my daughter, I was still having my period at 4 months. But my question is: if Clearblue says 2-3 weeks pregnant and I was supposed to have my next period around May 6th, did the egg have enough time to implant? And how likely is it that I'll continue to lose blood monthly around my period time during the first 4 months, or is every pregnancy different??

    I don't know either.
I haven't gotten my period since my last menstrual cycle,
and there was no implantation bleeding either.

Then you're already around 4 or 5 weeks pregnant if the test shows 2-3 weeks. 3+ is 5+ weeks pregnant. Because you can never have a positive test if it hasn't implanted yet.
  9. Irma Guest #10

Yes, I think so too. It'll be around 5 weeks.
  10. sanjo #11

Yes, I already said that. It'll be around 5 weeks.

Yeah, I already saw what you wrote. So it was just a false positive while she was actually pregnant. By the way, the leaflet also explains how and what. I used the same test.

There are many women who experience bleeding during their pregnancy.

The test was done last week, and then Clear Blue said 2-3 weeks. And if Clear Blue counts from the moment of conception, she should indeed be 5 weeks, if you count from the last period. But on April 6th she was definitely having her period. Well, it's true that during her previous pregnancy she also had bleeding/period-like symptoms for the first 4 months. Seems pretty strong that Clear Blue knows when your last period started. It's pretty confusing. After how many weeks can you somewhat feel a firmer belly?
  13. sanjo #14

It's really simple. Clearblue can detect how much hCG is in your urine. So it gives you an estimate of how many weeks pregnant you are. So you're basically pregnant. A test only turns positive if you're pregnant. And otherwise it would have been negative. So if I were you, I'd just call the midwife practice to make an appointment. You can explain your situation and then you'll get an ultrasound, and they'll check how far along you are. At least here in the Netherlands, you can just call yourself to make an appointment. So then you'll know more. If the test says 2-3 weeks, you're actually 4 to 5 weeks pregnant. Otherwise, it wouldn't show a positive result. There are women who experience bleeding during pregnancy. Seriously, you should just call. Some women show a baby bump earlier than others.

    Hi everyone,

It seems like several people are confused about the Clear Blue test.

I just tested and it says 2-3 weeks, which I take to mean I'll be 4 to 5 weeks pregnant .

I hope everything is okay now. I had a miscarriage in June, and I'm worried it might still be testing positive because of that , although I did have a normal period after the curettage.

I almost don't dare to think out loud that I might be pregnant.

    Best wishes

Hi Kaatje, as you can see, we didn't get it either. No, but I'm now 25+6 weeks pregnant. I had posted something in May, and my due date was calculated for January 23rd. Maybe it'll help you count along a bit so you know how far along you are yourself. I got pregnant in March/April, and in May they said it would be 2-3 weeks. It was supposed to be twins for me, unfortunately, one miscarried, but the other one seems completely healthy so far. I hope you'll have more certainty about it soon

Hey, I just took a test and it says I'm 2-3 weeks pregnant, but that doesn't seem right and it says I'm 4-5 weeks pregnant??

It was weird for me too..
I did a Clearblue digital test on Tuesday, December 16th and it showed 3+ (conception took place more than three weeks ago)
But when I look at my last period, nothing adds up, because on December 18th I should be getting my period.
Mothers for mothers also checked and that test was also bright positive.

I have my first ultrasound on January 12th,

Hi, it also said 1-2 weeks on my test.
I was also curious about when exactly implantation occurred during my second pregnancy, so I looked online for an implantation calculator. You enter the first day of your last period, and then it shows the date of your implantation.
    Greetings, Madelene

Hi, I have a quick question. I took a test the day before yesterday, also a Clearblue one, and it said I was 1 to 2 weeks pregnant. But this morning I had some bleeding, a bit like a normal period. What could that mean? I'm still not bleeding a lot, but I'm still bleeding, and I haven't found any clots. Does anyone have an idea?
