Just a quick introduction

Hi everyone!

Stopped the pill in February & since my period just didn't show up.
We did a first test on March 27th, and it was positive!
That same week I had blood drawn at the GP, and they confirmed what we had already found out earlier that week.... PREGNANT!!!

This is my first pregnancy, but I still can't quite believe it...
Maybe because I don't really have any symptoms!?

Otherwise, I'm a 27-year-old & a proud "plus" mom to a 7-year-old girl.

If you have any tips or ideas, feel free to share!!! All info is welcome for a newbie like me :-)

    Big congratulations on your pregnancy!
    So exciting, your first...
I gave birth to a big girl 3 months ago...
We didn't know we were pregnant until 3 months into the pregnancy, so this came totally out of the blue because I was still taking the pill...but our girl was very much welcome.. I got a lot out of this forum and made some cool ladies here who I'm still in touch with...you can come here with everything, both with your questions...and with your problems, you can just let it all out, so to speak...
And everyone here tries to find an answer somewhere. And especially the support you get here is super!

As for the discomforts, rub your hands together and keep going.. I didn't have any discomforts throughout my pregnancy until the end. In the last month, I had heartburn for about 14 days and couldn't sleep well because my big belly was in my way (I'm a stomach sleeper)

Nice that you also have a plus little girl, do you know yet? And what does she say about it?

Lots of love and enjoy your pregnancy!

A nice tip: take a picture of your belly on the same day every month so you can see all the growth of your little one and how your belly changes into a beautiful pregnant round belly

    Love x Daphne

We don't really have a preference, Olivia-Anna, but since we already have a (plus) daughter, a boy is always welcome. If it's not a boy, then a girl is just as good, okay! As long as it's healthy, that's what matters :-)

The (plus) daughter doesn't know yet, but she's having her first communion in early May, and we think that's the perfect time to tell her she'll be a big sister... But she'd really like a little brother or sister to join the family. Her preference is also for a boy because she already has a little sister at mom's. A little brother seems super cool to her, since she herself isn't exactly the typical girl prototype ;-)

The only issue I have is severe acid reflux! Not fun at all, of course, but we're taking it in stride :-) Next week I'm seeing the gynecologist, and hopefully, we'll know more about our little one, and also what I can take or something...

Thanks a lot in advance for your message! It does me good to be able to rely on this when I have questions or problems hehe

    Greetings,
    Femzel

Sounds like you're getting along really well with your foster daughter, that's nice to read!
By the way, milk is really good for acid reflux.

    Greetings! X
