Dear ladies, we became parents last Sunday to a very sweet son, Maher. The birth was a bit problematic. 2 days of very painful contractions without dilation and eventually they started oxytocin, but the little one didn't respond well. His heart rate dropped very low so they had to stop. Later they restarted, after that I went from 0 to 10cm dilation within an hour. 4 pushes and he was here. Then they saw his umbilical cord was around his neck. I was terrified, he was really purple-blue. So he needed help breathing for half a day. But luckily everything is good with him now, I'm so in love Tomorrow we're going home. We've been in a birth hotel for a few days. The house needs to be cleaned because of renovations. Looking forward to being home.
