hey,
I'm 19 and don't take the pill, but I only use condoms. Two weeks ago, I had unprotected sex with my partner for 3 days because I thought (yeah, pretty dumb) that I'd get my period 3 days later. I did a pregnancy test just to be safe, and it came back negative. But half a week later, I started having light brown discharge, which I've never had before. It was very little for 2 days, and then on the other 2 days it was very dark and quite a lot, but no blood. I'm wondering what's going on, could I be pregnant? Hope someone can help me figure this out. -

Hi everyone, when I was on the pill a few years back, I sometimes didn't get my period for a few months. My doctor said that was normal, because you don't get a real period but just some bleeding when you stop taking the pill for a week. Blah blah blah, having unprotected sex right before your period is obviously not smart because in the first week after your period you have no chance of getting pregnant, or at least less, but in the two weeks before you have a high chance. We're now trying for a second baby (I never used contraception again after giving birth). The last two months I only had dark brown discharge during my period. I talked to my doctor about it and she said it was normal, that my hormones were dropping too low before my period and that's why I don't lose fresh blood anymore. Now I've only had very light brown bleeding for 4 days. I'll have to do a pregnancy test and hope I'm pregnant again, although I'm afraid. My mom says I'm already in menopause because I've had severe migraines right before my period for months, although I didn't have one this time. So for all those panicking, just go to your GP or gynecologist. If they say we don't need to worry, then it'll be fine, right? -

Hey!
I'm a 14-year-old girl, but I haven't gotten my period yet.
In our family, it usually comes a bit later (around age 13), but nothing has happened for me yet....
I lose about 10 times a day clear mucus, and I often have severe lower abdominal pain on both sides...
I have no idea what's going on...
I've had this pain and the mucus discharge for about 2 years now...
I hope you can help me!!!!!!!

Hi,
I stopped taking the pill about a week ago because I'm trying to conceive, but after about a week—so today—I suddenly got some pink spotting. Does anyone know what could cause this?

I'm getting a bit unsure, so I'm asking here. Maybe someone has good tips,
We've been trying to get pregnant for half a year, and I'm now a week late with my period. I've had brown discharge for about 5 days, and my pregnancy test is negative. But I also don't feel like I'm about to get my period. I have a little cramp in my lower abdomen, but I'm keeping the brown discharge.
Does anyone have tips???

Hi everyone,
After about 11 years, I've finally stopped the pill. In May, I had my last withdrawal bleed. In June, after 24 days, I only had brown discharge for 4 days, along with just spotting. In July, after 20 days, I again only had brown discharge and spotting for 4 days.
Is this also a post-pill symptom? Or do you think this is now my actual period? -

Hi! I have a question. I stopped taking the birth control pill at the end of August last year. Yesterday I suddenly had dark brown blood, and this morning when I took out my tampon, there wasn’t much on it. Does this mean I’m on my period or not?
