The shot, the coil, the mini-pill???

I'm also curious to see the responses. I'm also torn between the pill and the IUD. I'm afraid I'll forget to take the pill, and you really have to take it on time ; The IUD stays in for 5 years and you don't have to think about it, but I've read that some women have heavier and more painful periods, while others don't have periods at all. That's just waiting to see...

They told me I could have my IUD removed whenever I want... but now there are people in this village who got pregnant because theirs was misplaced... I find it really tough, so I'm curious what you all think.

I've also been curious... I got pregnant myself while still on the pill and I took my pills very strictly.. Every day at the same time I set my alarm specifically for it..
I've also heard from acquaintances that they got pregnant even though they had an IUD..
Well, my gynecologist always says that the pill, IUD, or the shot, none of them is 100% safe if you really want to play it safe both partners should take precautions or just not have sex.. Well, somewhere she has a point I think..
My body had gotten used to the pill after 6 years of use and they never prescribed me a stronger one which actually should have been done but whatever...
I'll discuss it with my gynecologist after the delivery. Since I also want to breastfeed, which would be the best then...

@The ladies, the pill, the IUD, the injection...
Well, that's pretty much exactly the same here too...
I've had the injection but I gained about 15 kilos from it..
The IUD, yeah, it's a bit scary if I'm being completely honest. The pill stays, and as for the risk, I'll just use a condom then.....

I’ve had an IUD myself (don’t have kids yet). I chose it because the pill didn’t work for me and I’m allergic to the injection contraceptive. It’s been over a year since I had the IUD removed, and I’d love to get back the periods I had back then! I had little to no cramps and managed fine with mini tampons......
The insertion itself wasn’t fun, but that was partly because I don’t have kids. Think it over carefully and make sure you’re well-informed by your gynecologist! Good luck with your choice!
