    Hey Dani,

I would be furious too if I were in your shoes. I can totally imagine that it makes you sad.

But I think you're really super strong and brave. You've handled all those days so well.

I wish you all the strength you need!

    Love, Nynke

    Good morning,

    I'm doing much better today.

Yesterday, the midwife came back and felt so sorry for me; she comforted me, and a nurse came in, so we told our story. Within no time, the doctor came in and, during his free time at 6:30 PM, he did an ultrasound. Everything is fine with the baby, luckily.

A thousand apologies, the pediatrician is coming on Monday.
I hope so, because my husband told me to file a complaint if it's not handled properly. Making someone wait a week doesn't make you happier, and you should avoid stress, especially now.

That sweet guy wouldn't come, so he called and wanted to come right away. I told him not to do that and to go pick up his son instead, which he reluctantly did.

They'll be coming by later, good prospects.

Yesterday we laughed so hard with my friend and girlfriend that the midwife and I had hard contractions already!!

New day, new chances, and the sun is shining again. According to the CTG, I don't have hard contractions, so it's nice and quiet.

Thank you all so much for the kind words and support!! It does me so much good.

    Kind regards, Dani

Oh Dani, it does me good to know that despite everything, you were able to distract yourself!! And that it's already a lot better today

What a sweetheart of a man you have wanting to come over immediately.. such a treasure.. then you at least have something nice to look forward to today hehe. You and your man and baby boy coming by will be bliss, right

And you also have a very nice neighbor! She understands you well, I think... She probably knows that because they're there immediately at her place and not at yours.. Well, I'm glad you were able to tell your story to the nurse and that there was an assistant doctor standing by so quickly that you got the ultrasound anyway! And it's super that Otje is doing so well

Now let's hope the pediatrician gets in touch soon too! And if not, do what your man kindly suggests, girl, file a complaint! As you say, stress and excitement are things you really don't need right now!!

Stay strong, girl, and enjoy your Otje!!

    Love

Everything’s good here. Last night I had pretty bad stomach pain—not contractions, but really my whole belly. In the morning during the CTG it turned out I had a lot of hard contractions. So it’s a recurring pattern; when I get that kind of pain at night.

Last night I was having a hard time. Buuf gave birth after an emotional and painful day via C-section. I was just jealous—not that I didn’t wish her well, really I did—but she had so much pain and ended up with a healthy baby, and I really wanted to swap. Give me that pain (and it didn’t seem nauseating from what I saw over the past few days) and let my baby be healthy.

But anyway, that’s not how it is, and I talked about it with a nurse.
Sweet person, she even brought me a mirror and seriously....I have a belly.................I was quite startled, I must say. I hadn’t seen that belly in a while, of course. People, it’s at least twins.
Now I understand why I need to support my belly when I walk!

And my husband keeps telling me: you’re truly the most beautiful and definitely super feminine. The darling!!!

My husband is just so busy that I feel sorry for him. And I can’t do anything (according to him I’m already doing all I can, which is taking care of our baby).
I also don’t want to keep crying when he’s here; I don’t think it’s nice for him either, and luckily I had already cried this evening with the nurse before he came.

I heard from the nurse that Buuf has a little boy (I already knew that), and that the nurses had to take good care of me because she had noticed I was having a hard time but that I could hide it well....well, that’s what happens when you’re sharing a room with someone 24/7, right?
Buuf will come to see the little one soon; I’m quite curious!!!

Today I feel much better again. Someone came to ask how I was doing, of course having read in the report that yesterday wasn’t so great.
It’s basically like this every other day: bad and then a bit better. Well, better than it being bad every day, right?

    Kind regards, Dani

    Hi Dani,
you're having such a hard time, but you're still so positive—I really respect that.
It's not easy to hear that your sister-in-law is having a baby.
But I don't think anyone can stay as positive as you are, girl.

Crying can do a lot; don't keep everything bottled up inside, because then it gets even harder.
Kudos to your husband for being such a big support to you.

    Take care, stay strong!

    Love,
    Tamara
