Hey girls,
That's really sweet of you, but just enjoy being at home with your girl!!
I can't do anything but take it easy, I lie diagonally across from the counter, and when they see me coming out of the room, they wave me back.
And I really don't do that, I can be stubborn but I absolutely take responsibility for our baby.
I'm well taken care of here and of course it's annoying sometimes but this is good for something somewhere.
Got tissues from my mom for the tears and it's actually nice to let them out.
And my little guy has been here for 3 hours again and we had a lot of laughs together.
So nice to really do this together, no matter how difficult it is.
Lots of hard contractions during the scan today, uk was hard to follow when I had to lie on my side, she was rolling around a lot and I thought figure it out with your scan.
The nurse sat next to me for a quarter of an hour before she could finish the scan.
My belly feels very tight again, sometimes a numb feeling and that's the same feeling as before I lost my amniotic fluid.
My dad thinks something will happen on Tuesday, the future dad is going out for Christmas Day? We'll see and I hope both gentlemen are wrong and that Otje just takes a big hit in the mailing and stays in the private incubator for a long time!!!
If I have time in my very busy schedule in the coming days I'll keep you updated of course
Kind regards Dani -

Hi there,
Thanks again for the messages.
How am I feeling? Actually pretty good, just not thinking about the fact that it might take a few more weeks at the earliest before the little one arrives.
Good for the baby, but my goodness, I miss home (and my brand-new husband) so much.
I was away from work for 17 days a few years ago, but I never missed anyone as much as I do him.
He’s not coming tomorrow; he has to do a few things at home, and I told him he needs a little rest too. He’s been running around everywhere since Thursday, barely at home, and the baby’s room still needs to be finished.
So my parents are coming tomorrow evening so that he can stay home (I did tell him he should, but honestly, I regret it a bit
).
But well, this too shall pass, so just bite the bullet!!!!!
Don’t think too much ahead, or I’ll go crazy, and then I’d have to go to another department
.
As for my situation, no changes, so everything is going well.
"Brooding", eating, drinking, sleeping, visitors, reading, using the laptop, and then starting all over again.
And my bottom sometimes hurts so much............all this lying in bed, I have to be really tough or sit upright or lie completely flat, otherwise......apply plenty of cream, I’ve never had hemorrhoids before!!!
Kind regards, Dani -

Now you can work on your butt cheeks
. Hihi..
Glad to read that things are going well for you despite the circumstances.
I can imagine you miss your brand-new husband..
Stay strong, Dani, and brighten up that yellowish sickroom...
Love, Ju

Hi everyone,
Well, things are definitely cheered up a bit thanks to a neighbor.
Funny enough, my first neighbor was a GP, this one is a midwife and she explained to me in great detail what priming is.
Very likely I'll be primed/induced on 1-1-13 if the baby doesn't decide to come earlier.
So instead of at 38 weeks, it'll be at 37 weeks.
I don't have a definite answer yet, there was a meeting this afternoon about all the pregnant women.
And I think the pediatrician has been left in the lurch, he hasn't been here yet either.
Otherwise, I'm going to take a sleeping pill tonight, haven't slept at all again and I'm getting tired of it, the 8th night in a row so bad.
A sleeping pill can't hurt the baby so I'll try it once, maybe I can sleep for longer than max 3 quarters in a row.
Otherwise nothing special........very quiet here........another day gone and now I'm counting down to 1-1-13, 3 weeks minus 1 day = 20 days right? Wow, that doesn't sound like much anymore!!!!
Kind regards Dani -

The little man is back home, saying goodbye is getting harder and harder, and then knowing it could just take 4/5 weeks... pfffff.
I didn't want him to see my tears, but he hadn't even left the room before they came...
The neighbor lady is getting strong sleeping medication and is going to sleep in another room, so I can have one night of quiet time alone.
Chatting is nice, but I realize I miss not being able to just do my own thing.
I'm so incredibly glad not to be in a 4-bed ward!!!
Just freshened up, put on my pajamas, took my pill, and let's see what the night brings
P.S. The gynecologist came by tonight to tell me that the pediatrician will really come by tomorrow, to be continued... -

I think I’ve already used up all my maternity leave tears... This just shows that rest isn’t just about your body, but also your mind.
It’s okay, there might be more tension once the little one is here, and if these tensions are already cried out, then there’s more room.
Rarara, no pediatrician yet!!!! Got apologies from the trainee doctors, nobody knew which doctor would actually come by this afternoon.
He/she is really coming tomorrow!!!!
Spent an hour and 20 minutes lying down for the scan this morning.
The little one showed a nice registration for the first half hour, after that it was enough and started splashing around in my belly, registration gone.
I was so fed up, thought just 5 more minutes but the nurse luckily came to rescue us.
My belly hurt so much.
Now I also have pain in my right groin, maybe from the baby dropping or something? I’ll mention it tomorrow.
I didn’t use a sleeping pill yesterday, I didn’t dare to, went looking up temazepam and it was advised against online anyway.
Now I know that the gynecologist doesn’t just prescribe anything, but as long as it’s not really necessary (and I didn’t think so either), then without it’s fine.
Induction on 01-01 is set, I asked for it because the doctor thought I already knew for sure.
They do forget things here sometimes......
Kind regards, Dani -

@Dani,
Oh wow, what a mess!
Then everything I’m going through seems to fall into perspective...
I think you’re so brave and courageous
for getting through all of this...
You’re not letting anyone get you down, super girl...
That pediatrician really needs to come by now...
And no, you don’t buy anything for them...
Let them finally stick to their word...

Hi Dani,
You're holding up so well, girl! I really admire you!!
The way you're handling everything... I couldn't do it myself... Tears are part of it, and it's okay to let them out, girl. You shouldn't hold anything in...
How are you and your little one doing? Did you manage to get some sleep last night?
Oh my, I really hope that pediatrician finally comes by soon, because as you said, apologies don't buy anything!!
But those are doctors, right?? So don't let them get to you and keep asking until they finally show up...
You can really start counting down now, girl. 01/01/2013, wow, you're still so far off for me, hehe. You're going to do amazing, and I hope little one feels cozy inside until then!!
Lots of love and hugs, take care of yourself, girl!! -

It’s not that bad, honestly, but unfortunately I feel even worse than yesterday.
I’m so angry—those doctors can really cause a rambam (chaos).
This morning, a nurse already called the pediatricians at 9 AM. It was noted that someone should come to see me, but no one has been here yet.
They were supposed to do an ultrasound, but that hasn’t happened either.
They’re just looking at things, I’m not asking for anything, I don’t have the energy right now.
No, then there’s my aunt, such a lovely person, she’s a midwife herself, works here, has terrible pain, and I’m really not jealous of that.
But the doctors, neurologists, prescription writers, and who knows what else keep rushing in... My friend is also a doctor, has connections, and at 11:30 PM last night, she was still taken for an MRI.
She feels much better already, and I really felt bad for her, but what I mean is, they run around for her.
I “don’t have any complaints,” everything is going its own way, and that’s how you see that it’s so medically focused.
It probably doesn’t matter to a doctor that I’ve been here for 9 days, uncertain about the baby in my womb who is sick, and I’ve made that clear. It’s all just for the statistics, “the woman is having a hard time psychologically?” Psychiatric intake, easy peasy.
Of course, I don’t do that—it would be so much easier if you just got an explanation, which they themselves offer.
Well, you’re reading it, I’m quite angry and sad!
I don’t see the point right now, but it’ll probably be okay again.
And to top it all off, my husband isn’t coming tonight (he’s picking up his son at my request). Luckily, a friend with her husband is coming. -

Hi Dani,
I can totally understand why you're so pissed off! It's scandalous that they say one thing but don't follow through, and you're just sitting there waiting... And when they then run around for your sister-in-law, that's obviously not nice to see. I think they should keep you more in the loop and stick to their promises.
Have you been able to sleep a bit better? Hope you're having a nice evening with your friend and her husband.
Love, Mandy -

Wow, what a mess!
Well, girls, there's nothing else I can do but wish you all the strength, love, and courage!
And lots of hugs from me and Romy!

Oh my goodness, girl... you can't possibly mean that??!
That must give you such a rotten feeling...
You see them jumping around at your neighbor's but always making promises to you and not keeping them... It's totally understandable that you get angry and sad about that!
I can't say more than wish you lots of strength!! And hope they'll come by soon!!
Fortunately, your friend and her husband are visiting, so you can at least get your mind off things... and tomorrow you can unload your heart to your husband! Maybe he'll finally hear what's going on, because you really want some answers at last!
So girl, lots of strength, and feel free to vent here if you're not doing well!!
We're all here for you!
And hopefully, you'll have a decent night's sleep tonight so you can rest a bit..
Lots of love
