missed period after taking clomid

Hi ladies, I took my last Clomid on Aug 13 and ovulated on Aug 14. This was confirmed by an ultrasound and blood test. My period was due on Aug 27, but so far nothing. Now I'm 8 days late and have had two negative pregnancy tests. Normally, I'm never late with my period. Could it be because of the Clomid that I'm late? Are there any ladies who tested positive late?

    From my experience with Clomid, I was always 2 days early or 3 days late, but 8? Have you called your doctor or sent an email yet? Otherwise, I'd suggest doing that.

    Hi Joyce, I used the Early Test from Kruidvat.

    Some say with an early test they get a negative, and with a regular one they get a positive. I can't honestly answer that because I have no experience with it. With the Clearblue early test, I did get a false positive last cycle.

    I spoke with the midwives who are treating me this morning, and they advised me to wait until Wednesday. If my period doesn't start by then and the tests are still negative, I need to come in for an ultrasound check-up.

    Hi, I called the fertility consultants this morning and they advised me to wait until Wednesday. If I still don’t get my period and the test is still negative, I need to go in for an ultrasound. I’m never late with my period normally. I’ve always had a very regular cycle.

    Hi ladies, we're now 12 days overdue and still 3 negative tests. Tomorrow I have an appointment with my doctor for an ultrasound and blood test. Hopefully, we'll get some more news then about why my period is delayed.

    Hi ladies, after being 17 days late, I finally got my period. On Wednesday, I have my first IVF cycle ultrasound.
