Hey Olivia,
Thank you for your reply, that's really tough for you Have you recovered a bit yet? Intense!
You're absolutely right, I live in Belgium so the system is a bit different. I'll talk to my GP tomorrow and follow her advice regarding an ultrasound with the gynecologist if needed. I don't really have the symptoms either, but it's still early for me and I've heard people feel nothing and still have a baby..
I think I've also been overthinking too much, reading too much and letting my mind run wild, says my boyfriend. That's just kind of my nature..
Hey Mamavan2meiden,
The GP was able to reassure me, so She mentioned it might have been implantation. She took a blood test and just called to say my hCG levels are in line with what I should expect for the number of weeks I'm at. Next Monday they'll take another blood test to see if there's progression, which is the most important thing to know, of course.
She mentioned that I could call my gynecologist for an ultrasound from 6 weeks, but she actually recommended waiting until week 8. So I'll wait again next week and try to relax, because stress isn't healthy either! (I'm naturally quite stressed)
@Isa my hCG doubled every 48 hours even though I had a miscarriage. So that doesn't necessarily mean anything. I don't want to scare you, of course, but if you're (or were) worried about it, I'll give the OB-GYN a call to schedule an ultrasound around 6 weeks. Can't hurt, right?
Aah that's good news, Isa! Try to enjoy it. And if you're feeling unsure, you can always arrange an ultrasound yourself to check if it's in your uterus. But do this from 6 weeks or later, otherwise you might not see much or anything at all and end up worrying anyway.
Had my first ultrasound today, everything looks really good for how far along I am (9w 2d). Saw and heard the little heart beating She said there's nothing to worry about???? So now I'm going to try to enjoy the moment and wait until the next ultrasound and the amniocentesis test on 9/13.
