    Yesss, that's super clear! Congratulations

Thanks for taking a look, it's still quite suspenseful. I just read that these tests aren't always that reliable. Maybe I should test again tomorrow or the day after with a Clear Blue? I just used this one from Kruidvat.
I'm not so experienced with this yet, my period is due tomorrow, but I've had varying cycles (but never longer than 28 days, and that's tomorrow).

I don't find this clear? Try another test tomorrow.
I don't really see anything more, like I'm imagining it in the place where it should be vague, and these tests are indeed not so

I once got a false positive with this test, hopefully not for you

Thank you all! Looking back, I should’ve done more research first on which test to use.
But this morning I took a Clear Blue test, and it also shows positive

Congratulations! This test is too clearly positive to be false!

    Congratulations!!!

    Thank you all!
It's still a bit uncertain; next week I'll get my blood drawn first, and then I'll know for sure.
Since I also have Hashimoto's disease, so far I haven't needed any medication because my thyroid is doing okay. However, pregnancy does increase the risk of miscarriage... so it's still quite nerve-wracking!

Hope everything keeps going well for you, Isa!

Lost some blood today and since then have had some brown discharge. So I'm worried things aren't going well. I still got a positive test this morning, but that could still be expected, I guess, since hCG won't drop immediately?
Not sure if I should still go to the GP next week..
  12. Eefje #13

That's scary, if it's a small amount it doesn't have to be serious. Hopefully it'll be okay, and if not, lots of strength.

Yeah, it was yesterday afternoon, but it was really just a small amount, and after that I had continuous brownish discharge, but mainly when wiping, so really minimal.. and now I'm super nauseous, I don't understand my body anymore
I'm just going to wait and see if it gets worse, and anyway, I'll go to my GP on Tuesday, and we'll see what happens then.
  14. Mamavan2meiden #15

If it stays at a low level without clots, I wouldn't immediately assume the worst. HCG doesn't disappear from your body in a day, that's for sure. It could take a week or longer.

Thank you so much, Mamavan2meiden. I'll just wait and see; I think that's the only thing I can do right now.
On Tuesday I'm going to the doctor, in case it's still not clear by then, and we'll see how it goes.
It's just annoying not knowing for sure, and then you start thinking of all sorts of things even though you don't want to. Luckily, my little one is coming to stay this weekend, and I'll keep myself busy with that
  16. Mamavan2meiden #17

Oh, a little distraction is nice. I wish you a lovely weekend and good luck on Tuesday!
  17. popje #18

    Hey Isa, how are you??
  18. Isa started this #19

    Hey Popje,
The brown discharge actually stopped since Saturday and I did have increasing test results, but that doesn't mean anything... so still waiting to see. Tomorrow evening I'll go to the doctor and we'll see from there. I'm also a bit scared about a baby, but that's because I start reading all sorts of things everywhere and then you start feeling all sorts of things too, so I've stopped doing that for now and will just see what happens.

    Hi Isa,
I read that you're scared of an ectopic pregnancy. If you're really worried about it, it's important to reach out in time. Your midwife will definitely want to take a look to see if they can spot any signs of a pregnancy ring. I myself had surgery last month for an ectopic pregnancy and they had to remove my left fallopian tube. I wouldn't wish that on anyone. If it is an ectopic pregnancy, it's really important to get checked out in time. On the other hand, brown discharge isn't necessarily a symptom of an ectopic pregnancy either. I hope everything is okay for you. But do get it checked out
