Eleonoor or Eleonore
AstridGuest ·
Hi!
We were looking for a nice, classic Dutch name. I only knew Eleonore (ay-leh-oh-nor) in French and didn't find it that pretty. When my husband suggested Eleonore (ee-lee-oh-noor), I was totally sold. We couldn't agree on the spelling; we both think Eleonore looks nicer, but I'm afraid her name will be pronounced in French. Eleonoor feels less classic and also less poetic. What do you think?
