DD
Hi ladies,
I have my ultrasound next Tuesday to see how things are going with my uterine lining. Then I hope for a transfer soon.
Are there any other ladies waiting for a transfer?
It might be nice to chat a bit during these exhausting days..

    Lots of luck!
    I'm actually pregnant right now, but I just wanted to give you some encouragement! My uterine lining was also monitored, and the cycle that eventually led to my pregnancy was, as usual, way too thin! So I had already given up hope that month (even the doctor did), but still got pregnant!
    The doctor had even scheduled a hysteroscopy for the next day to look inside and see why my uterine lining stayed so thin, but I was able to cancel it!

    @Vosje; super! Congratulations on your little miracle in your belly. I'm so happy for you that it worked out after all. How far along are you?
    I had an embryo transfer 1.5 years ago (with our only embryo at the time); he's already running around here nicely back then he stuck right away. I'm really hoping for a stickey this time too (since we only have two good, untouched embryos left).
    It feels just as nerve-wracking as last time

    Wow, that sounds exciting! We had our first IVF embryo transfer on Saturday. Now we're in the two-week wait, with no embryos left for the freezer, so it's extra nerve-wracking...

    @LindaM
    I’m cheering you on!!! Hopefully the waiting weeks fly by quickly! Let me know what the result was?

    Thank you so much DD! I will!
    Your message gives me extra hope that it's possible! Pff, so exciting.

    @LindaM
    Keep the hope alive for sure! It's definitely possible. And I sincerely hope for you! Are you testing early or are you waiting for the blood test results? May I ask why you need IVF?
    Positive vibes are good for that little embryo in your belly although it's sometimes easier said than done, try to believe in it! Xx

    Thank you so much, it’s really nice! this does me so much good!

    I do have faith, but I try to stay realistic. I find it so hard to find that balance! My husband is 100% convinced that I’m pregnant, but I don’t dare to be. I guess it’s self-protection...

    They have no idea why nothing is working right now. We already have a daughter, who came spontaneously and immediately. She’s 4 years old now.
    And now we’ve been in the medical mill for almost 1.5 years with treatments (and before that, on my own).

    So I’m really struggling with doubt about that too. I wasn’t properly informed earlier about testing after Ovitrelle and thought I was pregnant. “Mistake, forgot to mention,” from the hospital. We were so devastated!
    Now I’ve used Pregnyl, which should be out of my system after 14 days, and I’m allowed to have a blood test on day 16. I’d really like to test myself, so we still have that moment together, but I also don’t know how sure I can be that the result will be accurate then. Tough!

    I totally get you. It really is hard to find that balance.
    I'm also quite positive since it worked out right away last time, but I'm trying to stay realistic. Something could still go wrong, after all.
    It's so tough that it worked out the first time and now it's not it's especially hard when you've had Pregnyl injections. Maybe test yourself the morning of your blood draw? I also think it's nicer to find out that way than over the phone. I don't know how it feels to hear over the phone that it didn't work, and I hope I never have to hear that, but it could happen.
    I'm counting down with you, when exactly is your blood draw?
    X

    Exactly! Everything has to be done at the hospital, and the whole pregnancy experience isn’t something we share anymore. I really want this to be something we do together!

    You hit the nail on the head.. it's more like quickly stopping by the shop, filling the basket, and hoping there's no hole in it..
    but we should be grateful that it's still possible this way.
    (I once told someone that I'm super tired from Progynova. That person said; if you want something, you have to be willing to pay the price. To which I replied; I would have preferred to see it another way) That response really hit home. Many people don't understand the impact of the MMM. Even though it all went 'smoothly' for me the first time. I still always have a feeling somewhere that I've 'failed' as a mom.. and I miss being able to just look and see if it worked or not..
    I find it really exciting for you too, I'm really rooting for you!
    Do let me know, okay

    Exactly! Pfff, terrible, those clichés! And there are so many more like that. When you say you're finding it hard: "You wanted this yourself, didn't you?!" No, I don't want THIS myself. I want to get pregnant and have a baby, not deal with all this IVF stuff; it's not really a choice... It makes me so sad too. But we're not failing!! We already have so much love for a baby that isn't even here yet. It's just ignorance and taboo. If this IVF cycle hadn't worked out and people said (luckily I found the puncture not too bad): "Well, now you know you can do it!" I'd personally stick a brain needle into them evil: (sorry, something with frustrations and hormones haha) ROOTING FOR US

    Haha, super! That’s totally fine! Let’s just hope it won’t be necessary, meaning that it DID work out
