Hi everyone,
We're trying to get pregnant. We already have two dogs (which I'm obviously crazy about). It might be a bit premature and maybe not even necessary, but I do have a kind of 'fear'. What if the baby is very allergic and my dogs have to go... Just the thought of it...
So I was wondering if you have any experience with babies and dog allergies? Is there anything you can do about it, other than finding a new home for the dogs?

I was one of those babies who was allergic to dogs. We had a German Shepherd. It wasn't diagnosed until a few months later, but I also have asthma, so that often goes hand in hand with allergies.
Our dog did have to go, unfortunately.
