Exciting!

Hi everyone,
I've been on the mini-pill for 10 years. Four months ago, I stopped taking it because we're trying to conceive.
Earlier this week, I took a test and it was negative.

I'm 30 years old and have CPS, which means I have Chronic Pelvic Syndrome. I take strong medication for this.
Yesterday, I had a blood test done to check if I'm pregnant, and I'm still waiting for the results.

In a short amount of time, I've gone from an A to a C cup, and my breasts hurt a lot on the outside. The shape and color of my areolas have also changed.

I'm hoping to get an answer from the doctor soon. If I am pregnant, it's going to be a tough time for me with my back (I broke it 5 years ago—it healed well—but I've been left with CPS as a result).

I'm looking forward to positive news, but I'm also scared of the consequences this might have for me.
I really hope to get lots of support and advice from people here.

    Hope for positive news!!

Don't panic too much beforehand. I also have an illness where I normally get really anxious and take heavy medication. I can't take that anymore now either (14 weeks pregnant now) and it turns out that during pregnancy I have much less trouble with my illness than when I'm not pregnant! So far I haven't missed my pills yet

The 18-month window for the contraceptive pill is up.

Hope for good news for you, but do keep the contraception in mind.
