Hi Shana, that's a bit less natural now with his flat back already! But do your thing, girl! Because as you say, the longer your little one stays in there, the better!! Keep us posted, girl!!

Good luck and enjoy your pregnancy anyway!!

    Love,

No, I haven't heard anything about internal exams yet, so I'll just check to be sure I can already picture myself standing there, hihi..
But what you're saying is probably pretty much the same everywhere.
And you're right, it's so nice.. I hear a lot of 'just enjoy your belly, you'll miss it later' in my circle.. I think that's really true
I also always find it nice to hear that everything is going well with others! I think it's a very pleasant forum where you can share anything or your thoughts, and a nice atmosphere is also important.
    Love,

@Shana, that's exciting!! It's quite coincidental that your boy's cousin has also experienced it... so maybe she knows what you're going through, which could be comforting in a way. I hope your little one reaches 34 weeks for sure, the longer the better! But I can imagine it feels a bit double.
Do you already feel them moving well? You've chosen a beautiful name

hehe yeah imagine that would be like euuuhh yeah ok... couldn't you have said that a bit earlier here I always make sure I wear a little dress so I don't feel so exposed^^
I'm glad I have a woman who is very nice and really empathetic and reassures you... we had bad experiences with the gynecologist we first wanted to go to "bad reception there was a student who had to do the ultrasound she was very unclear no explanation your partner wasn't involved name it all" all together 5min inside and 60euro could pay... we mentioned this at the 20 weeks ultrasound because the gynecologist we now have actually only does the big examinations and follows up on women who have complications... and she immediately said if you want I'll follow you up further and I didn't have to think twice feel super comfortable with her had to book all appointments in advance because she's fully booked every day!! so hope I give birth during the week and in the morning or afternoon and not at night because then it's still on-call gynecologist...
this forum is really lovely! everyone understands everyone and respects everyone's opinion etc...
here they also always say enjoy it because the big round belly is gone quickly and then you'll miss him!! I've become so attached hihi so I'll definitely miss him
    Love

Yeah, then you feel pretty silly too, haha. It could happen to you, haha. And you're totally right that they switched; it seems really annoying if it goes like that! And it's pretty bad that they don't give any explanation, like you just pay your number and leave. With me, it depends on who's on duty; I've now seen/met all 4 different women, and I have to say I felt good with all of them, luckily. Hopefully, you don't give birth at night, no, hihi.

Enjoy those bulging bellies even more in the last few weeks: woot:
    Love.

Yes, and you can already see him kicking outside the belly too he's a real hulk. Yeah, it's indeed a coincidence. My biggest fear that he'll come too early is mainly due to myself; I was also born at just 5 months and 3 weeks of pregnancy. Fortunately, I'm healthy, but it could have been different, and I'm so scared that our little boy will also come way too early, especially now pffff It worries me a lot, but this little guy is determined. I have to and will rest, even though not everything is sorted yet Fortunately, the nursery is almost ready, and it's just the details left

Hi Shana, that's quite a thing to say, already on bed rest... pff, sounds really tough for you, but as you said: it's for your baby, so you just have to do it.
I'm noticing things aren't going so well here either, lots of hard contractions, ligaments pulling and hurting a lot.
You have to take it easy, can't do much anymore, which is pretty hard if you're usually always busy.

Those internal exams; do you mean an internal ultrasound or checking with fingers?
It's not too bad though, I had mine last 2 weeks ago, cervix was nicely closed and the neck long enough. I think I'm getting it again tomorrow to see how things are.
Hope I don't get put on bed rest....... thumbs up till I'm dizzy

My mom had to lie flat early too She spent 2 weeks in the clinic with contraction suppressants and stuff, but after those 2 weeks, there was no full dilation, the water broke, etc., and she ended up giving birth at 5 months and 3 weeks That kicking is lovely It also gives a reassuring feeling that everything is okay with him

Could it be hereditary after all or something like that? Good thing you're completely healthy yourself!
And yes, I can totally understand that the kicking gives a calmer feeling
  10. Dani #30

I was told to rest yesterday... so I guess that's what I'll do then?

Those many hard contractions and round ligament pain are because my uterus is already stretched to the max by the amniotic fluid, which is why I'm having quite a bit of pain from it.
I remember with my daughter that this only happened in the last few weeks, but that makes sense now too since my belly looks like someone who's 40 weeks pregnant.

So we're hanging out on the couch, going back to sleep for a bit, occasional babbling, and mostly doing nothing (well, almost nothing).

Is everything okay with you guys there?
  11. Shana #31

    take it easy, dani
  12. Mommy-Of-Nyana #32

    @Dani,

Oh wow, girl.. make sure to rest well, okay! So your little one can stay in there just a bit longer!
Let yourself be pampered! And take it easy, girl..

    Lots of love
