Hi Mandy,
I had this when I was a girl and it was related to low blood sugar.
It could also be related to your blood pressure.
Were all your checks with the midwife okay?
It's really unpleasant, and if you get more discomfort, make sure to contact the midwife.
Good luck,
Kind regards, Dani -

It could indeed be related to your blood pressure, I think. I'd suggest getting it checked by your midwife. I think it helps to lie down with your feet higher than your heart so that more blood flows to your head.
Feel better and keep us posted? -

Hey
I had this a few weeks ago too, exactly as you describe. I called the VK (pregnancy hotline) and they said I should take it easy, drink plenty, but if I started vomiting again, I should call back. But I didn't have it again after that!

hi, i've had that too.. got it once while driving to work and once when i was about to go out here.. i felt everything draining out of my body.. got very weak legs, sweating, dizzy, everything seems to have passed now and that feeling like you're gonna faint any moment.. and i was removed from the work floor by the doctor.. and had to take it easy, rest a lot and drink plenty.. because my blood pressure and blood tests were all perfect... and just do everything in small chunks and now it's getting better but drink a lot, especially water and occasionally sugary drinks or sweets

I have to go to the VK by chance on Monday, I'll let you know then.
Hopefully I'll also get the results of my blood test then, I had to do a GTT test last week.
And "Dreams can come true," what a creepy thing to say in the car!! You must have been startled.
I'll also make sure to drink a bit more
Thanks for your responses, girls!

Hi Happy, yeah that was quite a shock, I immediately went to the side. My work called, I did my best.. and then I also called my mom. Because she wasn't far from her home and she came to pick me up together with my stepdad so that my car also got home.
Last Monday was when you knew if you have the results, right dear...
And enjoy your little one more
And drink plenty, I have 3-4 bottles of water around the house that I can drink from anywhere
I have one in the bathroom, living room, kitchen and bedroom... so I don't always have to hobble up and down for a glass of water

Glad it was close to your mom and stepdad, otherwise you wouldn't feel comfortable either..
And I think it's a really good idea! Definitely put a bottle of water down, you'll get it quicker that way, haha, good tip!
I'll keep you updated about Monday.

Hi girls,
Could you keep me updated?
My blood test results were all good, luckily!
Our little guy is growing really well; they even said we can expect him to be quite big, around 8 or 9 pounds! (I was a bit surprised to hear that haha)
Did they also give you an estimate about the weight?

I had that too at the store; it's due to your blood pressure. I fainted and the store called a doctor
Just rest is the message

Oh wow, that's quite a lot! All that happens to your body, right..
Did you not have it anymore after? And is your blood pressure okay?

Hi Happy, glad your results are good!! So happy for you!!
Amaai, that means she'll turn out to be a good little boy then he
They haven't said anything about weight yet, but she's slightly above the curves. At 31 weeks and a half she weighed about 1.700kg, almost 1.800, and measured a solid 42 cm then. So she'll probably be a big girl too. Now mom and dad were also big and heavy at birth
I was 3.850kg and measured 54cm and my partner was 3.750kg and measured 53cm so our girl will probably head in that direction I think
How are you doing otherwise and your little one??

Is your due date still correct? If so, I just noticed we have the same due date!!

Our girl has turned and is already quite low. She couldn't see my cervix via ultrasound, so I really had to push hard (which was quite painful), so I think she's well positioned
The midwife said she should stay like that... Oh, sleeping has been a disaster the last few days... always feeling restless or thinking our girl isn't positioned right and it hurts... I'm now drinking a nice warm cup of milk with 6 sugar cubes before bed
They say sugar isn't good for falling asleep because it keeps you awake, but it helps me here... but I mustn't wake up in the night or I'll be awake all night
I got up myself at 5am with my partner who had to go to work, and there I was, wide awake pff...
Otherwise, everything is going well here
Madam is moving nicely but there are no more kicks and I feel them less than before. She's shifting more with everything, so I assume she's engaged... When do you have to go back for a check-up? Ours is on Dec 18. I'm curious, only then will the internal exams start
pff I'm already dreading it haha... well, it's for a good cause

Haven't seen it anymore, I have to stay on bed rest for the rest of my pregnancy
Our little boy is constantly pressing against the placenta, which increases the risk of it detaching. If that happens, our little boy will have to come into the world via emergency C-section, so bed rest is the only option since I'm only 24 weeks. The blood test was fine back then, but your blood pressure can go back to normal quickly, so yes. -

Nice that she’s already in a good position, so you don’t have to worry about that yet.. and it’s so true, I sometimes just lie there staring into space for hours.. it helps that I’m not working anymore, so I can relax during the day or lie down for an hour; it would be a drama if you still had to work! haha And if the milk helps and everything goes well, you should just do it, right?
I have to go for a check-up on Dec 10th.. oh dear, yes, an internal exam
I’m a bit dreading that too.. is that around that time everywhere? I actually don’t know when it is
it’s just that you know why you’re doing it, haha

@Shana..Oh my, that's intense! You're almost done with that too! Is it manageable at all? Do you really have to wait out the full 40 weeks, or are they inducing you earlier? Take it easy! Hope things go smoothly for you

Yes, I'm also due on January 14th
It's indeed a big difference, those dates! Exciting, right... you never really know for sure when it'll happen, so we'd better assume the later date will come and everything will be fine haha. I secretly hope for an earlier one though, I'm so looking forward to it!! And it would be quite funny if everyone could join in on New Year's haha, that would be a really nice start to the new year
. Amazing!!!
It's nice that everything looks so positive, always good to hear that.
I'll just make sure to ask in advance when there's an internal exam before I arrive so they don't catch me off guard..

oh you don't know when you're going to have it yet... I'll be around 36 weeks then
january 14 was our first date then it was january 21 and most recently it was january 7.. now I'm going to have a nice time at the end of january and they always say you should always go by the first date... on january 21 i'll be 40 weeks and so and they always count up to about 42 weeks we'll see
hihi..
hope she comes earlier too but it doesn't have to be right away finds it so sweet hihi
yes if they all have to stand with us there we are with 3 couples haha there goes our feast then they can heat it up in the hospital hahaha...
also always nice to hear if everything is going well also from other ladies
ultimately you do share something right... all the stories questions and answers hihi...

According to the gynecologist, he'll come earlier anyway, so I'll have to give birth earlier anyway. Well, we'll see what happens. On December 22nd, we're going back to the gynecologist, and she'll explain how and what needs to happen. My partner's cousin had the same thing, and she had to have an emergency C-section at 30 weeks of pregnancy. I hope we'll make it to 34 weeks for sure, but of course, the longer he stays in there, the better
