Multiple miscarriages

Hey ladies. I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right spot, but I'm new here. So I'm not sure how everything works yet. I also don't see a miscarriage topic listed. My partner and I have been trying to get pregnant for 3 years now. I was on the contraceptive pill for a long time before that. In Dec '19 I had a miscarriage. In March '20 another one. In Sept '20 another one. All of them in the early stages, between 8, 3 and 5 weeks. I'm 42 myself. My partner is 33. The gynecologist won't do any tests, the GP took blood and my vitamin D is a bit low. 47. The gynecologist just puts it all down to my age. She is willing to prescribe me Ascal, but nothing else. Now I'm reading that progesterone is important during pregnancy. I've also brought this up with the gynecologist, but she thinks this isn't proven. What's your experience with progesterone? And maybe a bold question, but has anyone over... I really want to try it for a possible next pregnancy.

Your age definitely plays a role. But... that doesn't mean nothing else will come out of the tests. It's strange that your gynecologist isn't taking this seriously; a history of miscarriages really calls for a thorough investigation. I'd push for that. As for progesterone, I honestly have no idea. My advice would be to try, but not with everything at once, and always in consultation with your gynecologist—maybe even a different one. Get a second opinion. In short, don't let it drop. Good luck with your wish for a child.

Your age definitely plays a big role, but it's not the only factor, so I'd definitely ask for further research

They think there's nothing to come out of the research, since I've already had healthy pregnancies.

That's why they don't want to do it.

I already have 2 kids, but I did have a few tests in Feb/March this year My husband only has 5% good sperm cells so we got 2 miracles In your case, I'll definitely ask again, you've also gotten older and your body might have changed after the pregnancies

That sounds really frustrating, because every pregnancy is just different. I'd really push for it, or else go to a different OB-GYN to get a second opinion.
