Sensitive labia

LinaGuest ·
I’ve been dealing with (over)sensitive labia. It just appeared out of nowhere a month ago. I’m sure it’s not a fungal infection, and I haven’t recently given birth or am pregnant. For example, I experience discomfort while sitting, exercising, and having sex. Does anyone know what this is? What could it be? It’s quite an irritating little issue...

GP!!! It could very well be a different type of fungus

Elina, what do you mean by sensitive? Is it burning, red? Or something else? Maybe irritated by something like sports, cycling, long horseback riding? Or sex when you weren't wet enough? Do you have it all the time? Do they look different than before you had this issue?

Indeed, you should still drop by the doctor's office.

I’d definitely go to the doctor. And what underwear are you wearing? I’d wear some cotton panties and go without at night; that should also be good for your vagina (and thus the labia).

I mainly notice it after sex. It’s a bit of a tingling sensation, not itching. Also, it doesn’t look redder than usual to me. Luckily, it’s been fading a bit over the course of this week.

Oh that's nice! Just had sex too often and for a long time, so you're probably a bit drier?
