Do you have an age in mind above which you wouldn't want to get pregnant anymore?

I would never want to be pregnant over 40. I'm 37 now and 29 weeks pregnant with our twins. Also our last little ones

I think I'd set the limit at the end of my 30s, max. I'm thinking 38...
Of course, if getting pregnant doesn't work out and you still have a strong desire for more kids, you might not stick to that limit yourself. You can only really say that when you're in that situation.
Thankfully, I don't have to deal with that—our little family is complete (2 kids).
If you're in that situation yourself, I wish you all the best!

I have 3 kids myself and I'm 30 now. The oldest is almost 6 and the youngest is 6 months old. Deep down in my heart, I'd still like a 4th, but not in the next 4 years. I already decided before we wanted kids that I don't want to be pregnant anymore from age 35 onwards. But I think everyone has a different take on that. And maybe I'd feel differently if it hadn't already been possible to have 3 kids before turning 30.

From my 35th birthday. But hopefully, all three kids will be here by then.

I think 35 is the max. I really wanted my kids before I turned 30 and if things didn't go my way, I'd keep going until 35.
My first was born when I was 26, then 28 and then (just recently) 29. I'd consider a 4th, but only in a few years and that's not going to happen anymore. I'm happier now
After 35, the chance of disabilities increases and I don't want to take that risk.

It depends on a few factors. I always wanted to be a young mom. That worked out. I really thought being over 33/35 was way too old. Now I'm 33 and have 4 kids: 15, 14, 5, and almost 4. I still feel young enough to start a family.

What if I only met my husband now? Well, I'd really have started having kids. But definitely not older than 37/40.

I wouldn't want to be over 35. I'm 33 now, turning 34 on Sunday, and currently trying for baby #4.

    Up to 37 years
    I'm 26 (Oct 27) and pregnant

I always said after 35 I wouldn't have any more kids, but now I'm 35 and still going for a third. Unfortunately, it takes me a bit longer to get pregnant, otherwise I'd already have 3 kids by now.

    Up to 35 years old.

I’m expecting my first, hopefully, just before I turn 35, and I hope there’ll be another one someday!

For myself, I wanted to be done with kids by age 30. That worked out; I’m 28 and my kids are 5.5, 4, and 1.5 years old. I did need medical help for all three due to PCOS. That’s also why we started when I was only 20.

Besides that, I’d never want to start with my first child in my late 30s. But I can’t really name a strict maximum age..

I wouldn't want to start with my first child after 35 either, but a next one is a bit different, I think.

We're currently thinking about it. I only met my husband when I was 30. Due to endometriosis and other fertility issues, I only became a mom for the first time at 38. We're overjoyed now because there was a high chance we wouldn't be able to have a child. Our baby is now 3 weeks old. We'd still really like to try for a second child. Who knows, maybe we'll experience another miracle. I'm thinking of trying until I'm about 42. And if I do get pregnant, I'll have very close monitoring (e.g., undergoing amniocentesis).

I also got to know my husband pretty late, and now (31) we're starting our first. We'd like to have three, but it'll depend on how smoothly it goes. If everything goes well, max 36. If it's a bit less smooth, maybe 38/40 but with very close follow-up like Daisy says.

Daisy, congratulations on the little one! What a chair to get through endometriosis. I understand you'd like another baby, but age does play a role. If it doesn't happen right away, it's wise to ask a specialist or the family doctor. Keep hope, but also be realistic about the chances of success.
