My 14-week-old daughter has been waking up with one red cheek that feels warm for two days in a row. She’s also more grumpy than usual. In the evening, the red cheek was a bit less each time, but it didn’t go away completely. No fever or red gums. Could this still be related to a tooth? How long do the symptoms of a red cheek last?

I was already a bit worried it might be due to the sun. We went for a walk in the forest in a carrier, and she was well protected with sunscreen. Otherwise, no signs of sunburn.

Greetings

A red cheek could be a tooth but also an earache.

When it was a tooth, she had a red cheek for a few days here. They indicate an earache by the baby constantly touching their ear.
