Positive or not?

Hi,
I took a test yesterday just in case. I'm two days late and had some symptoms. It's practically impossible for me to get pregnant naturally because my partner is almost infertile.
Still, something seemed to appear on the test? But maybe I'm wrong or just imagining things?

    How many days before your due date are you? On the right test, there's a faint line. What color is the line? It looks a bit grayish... On the left test, I don't see much...

    The one with the pink control line was the first, a life test. I wasn’t expecting anything and suddenly I saw something faint. I’m assuming it’s negative because the next test showed nothing. Just so frustrating, where did that first line come from...
    I’m now on day 2 after my expected period.

    Hi Mel, if the test showed a line within 5 minutes, it should be accurate, right? Are you going to take another test tomorrow?

    Hi dear,

    The thing is, they really told me I’d never get pregnant spontaneously; my son was via ICSI. But I had such a weird feeling and then went overdue. So I never expected anything from that test and mainly just wanted to soothe myself so I could move on.
    Then that line appeared and I thought I was pregnant, but I’ve done more tests since and they’re all clearly negative... so I assume it’s nothing. But it keeps haunting my mind of course ????.

    But that doesn't explain the negative result though
    I'm not really hoping for it anymore, I just don't get how a test could suddenly be positive .

    It's possible that your hCG levels fluctuate sometimes because it's still early... my tests also went from positive to negative once, and a few days later I turned out to be really pregnant. Unfortunately, this ended up being a miscarriage, but strange as it may seem, that's just how it is.

    Hi Mel, that's super exciting for you right now, and it's so frustrating that things are going like this. It's a waiting game now, and that's not fun. If all the other tests come back negative, it's indeed hard to say. Hope you get an answer soon.

    It's indeed really tough because I first thought I was pregnant, and it was a heavy blow when it turned out it probably isn't.
    You hold on to it even though you know better The Kruidvat test now also shows a veeeeery faint line, but outside the reading time, so I assume it's just an evaporation line...

    The action test was clearly negative, so I'll accept it and wait for my period.
