Mother at an older age
39 years old and wanting kids
Hi ladies,
I find it quite difficult to write about myself, but I think it will be nice anyway. I'm a mother of two children and I'm 39 years old. I've had two C-sections, and during the last one I had a hemorrhage. That was quite intense, and I had a blood transfusion. My desire for a child remained, so I became a nanny because I didn't dare to get pregnant anymore and wanted to help other people. Now, after a few years, we'd really like to try for a baby for ourselves if it works out. After several conversations with the gynecologist, who said it's possible and no more dangerous for me than for anyone else. I'm looking forward to it, and I find it exciting too. I'm 39 now, and I'm a bit sad about that because it will get harder and harder. We want to try for a few months because of my age. I often hear that I'm too old from outsiders, and that sometimes makes me sad; they don't know my situation. I hope it works out this month; I expect my period on Thursday.
