Need help with baby wishes

Hi everyone,

My boyfriend and I have been together for almost 6 years now and we're ready to try for our first baby.

So, I stopped the pill last November. Up until now, my cycle has varied between 26 and 28 days, so I'm not sure how to calculate my fertile days.

We had sex last night/tonight (early this morning), which was the first time since my period started (by the way, my period lasts 5 days). Should I keep trying every 1-2 days for the rest of the month, or should I wait?

By the way, we've been trying since November when I stopped.

Also, I should mention that in the past I had an infection in one of my ovaries, but I was treated for it. They said everything else looked fine, just a bit of fluid.

So I'm already a bit scared of being disappointed if it doesn't work, but I want to stay positive. Does anyone have experience with this? I'd appreciate any advice.

    Hey,

I'd like to recommend the MAYA app to you. You can specifically track which are your most fertile days, and input how you're feeling and whether you've been intimate, etc.

I myself had sex with my boyfriend every other day. This is because that's usually recommended, so you should have sex every other day or every two days to get pregnant as quickly as possible. Ovulation tests can also help, but I don't know much about those myself, I didn't need them.

    Wishing you lots of success!
    Greetings

Did you take it every other day after your period, or only during your fertile days in the app? How long did it take for it to work for you, and how long was your cycle?

I usually did it every other day, indeed, but especially during the “yellow” & “green” days in the app. My cycle was usually between 28-30 days. For me, it worked the first time after 2 months, but then I had a miscarriage. After that, I was pregnant again within a month. But in my family, (almost) everyone gets pregnant “quickly”

I'll download the Maya app. I already had one downloaded, but I messed with it last night for the 2nd time. My cycle carriers are from 26 to 28 days, so I don't know exactly when ovulation is, so I'll go by feel.
