Don't remember either?

Thought I’d gotten over it, indeed possibly with the transition. I’m now 47 years old. On the pill. In the break week after I had my period one day shorter and less heavy from Feb 6 to 9, I took a test anyway yesterday because I have pregnancy symptoms. I didn’t believe the first test and now took a second one from a different pack and yes, same line. See photo.
It’s never been this dark before.
And maybe it’s nothing again, but how can this be? The GP didn’t want to refer me to the gynecologist again even though the midwife had requested it after all those faint pregnancy tests.
I now believe it wasn’t miscarriages, but what could explain this? A pregnancy test should react to hCG, so why does this test show positive? Maybe I should switch to a different GP!

And don't disappear again suddenly, okay.

call that same friend again and say what you're saying and if necessary, one other friend

    No, Anoniem, stay.

But the GP said to go to the OB-GYN, but this family doctor isn't listening. Maybe I should ask for a different GP! I'm really fed up.

Can you do a blood test and then you'll know how many weeks it is and if it's really hcg?
Sounds like it, but then the blood test also has to react.

CB only reacts once HCG levels are quite high. Seems to me you should be able to see a line if he's reacting. But you never know with those tests.

You can have the midwife check with an internal ultrasound, right? You don't need the GP for that.

So I don't know if I should get a pregnancy test, he does need a lot of hCG. And I can't get a test or anything right now because the stores are closed.

Yeah, that could also be possible, but I don't know how far along I am or if there's anything to see at all, Anoniem?
  13. Anoniem Guest #14

There probably wouldn't be much to see. But at least she can see whether you're pregnant! I'd just call tomorrow, explain the story, and show the positive tests. A line is a line, says the midwife here.

Yes, Anonymous, I'll call the midwife first thing tomorrow morning and explain it. We'll see what she says to do. Thank you!

Good luck! Let me know if you hear anything?

Anonymous, I've sent an email with the photo of the tests attached.
I'll call tomorrow morning to see if they've read the email, yes I'll keep you posted.

Well, the Kruidvat was just open here. Even at 4 PM. Given the 2v5 stripe on the kv, you can just do a cb. That way, you're sure there's enough hcg, and an ultrasound can't see anything yet. A blood test is the first step, and then you check the values twice to see them rise.

How exciting... I'm curious to see what comes out of your Cb!
