Thanks for your replies. For the first one, we were at it for 6 months. Then we had the same problem, that he "wasn't really cooperating," to put it mildly. Yeah, he does want to do it spontaneously now and then, and we'll just see, but I just can't do that. If we're trying, I want to make the most of every cycle. A month is a long time, and we're not in our twenties anymore. Most couples trying for a second baby find it exciting and both do their best every cycle. But yeah.
Hihi well, gotta shower and shave, anyway, I find showering refreshing, especially after oral sex and stuff. If you've been sticking in your underwear all day whaaaa
But sometimes we just do it spontaneously when we go to bed, and then I'll put a little drop of fruit-flavored lube for freshness.
If we do have sex 1 or 2 times a week, you don't really need to worry about ovulation. He just came up with it randomly last night. I said around 9:30 PM that I was tired, so I'd shower and go to bed, and then he came after me, hahaha how is that a hint?
But it was on day 5 of the cycle, so, a good start.
I'll check out a sexy set. I'm not really into it that much. But I know it works
Though I then think, "Will you just get aroused in the middle of the day if I really go all out??" haha but yeah, it's never right that way.
@Mimi hahaha thanks, my sister is like that too, so when we're together it's a real cabaret show

Hi!
That sucks for you guys that you’re handling it differently. I can see both sides of it. We don’t have the pressure of it being our first baby or that 'ideal age' in between. We just have sex whenever we feel like it. We don’t keep track of ovulation or anything like that. I do take folic acid though, since I stopped the pill consciously and we chose to try for a baby if it happens. We don’t want any pressure on us; we want it to stay fun, like always. It shouldn’t put strain on our relationship; it needs to stay good with that in mind (
).
Your oldest is 3.5. I get your idea that the second one should come quickly. But let it go. It’s only working against you when trying to conceive. My sister and I are six years apart. I’ve never been less happy because of that, and I never really had the thought: 'I wish my sister was younger or I was older'. Actually, because my sister was already so big compared to me, it helped me a lot. She had already experienced everything I had experienced. I never went to school with her because she was already in 'higher' grades. My mom found it very nice that we weren’t in puberty at the same time. And because my sister had already gone through it (puberty), she could understand my behavior really well. Because of this, we never got in each other's hair. Something I did see with girlfriends at home. Now I’m 25 and my sister is 31. My sister has 3 kids and she’ll be able to teach me everything about 'learning' from them later on.
What I’m trying to say: it has both pros and cons. I wouldn’t fixate on it so much, just enjoy your partner when you feel like it.
And indeed: stimulating him can’t hurt. Then it’ll go exactly how you both want it to, haha! Just stop talking about your cycle and just turn him on when you 'need' him. That would be a good middle ground for you two. And good for your relationship, looking for that tension. My boyfriend thinks role-play is amazing. Too bad for him that I end up laughing so hard... OOPS! :'
Sex shouldn’t become a chore, because then it can only fall flat (that’s my opinion

Thanks for your reply. Hahaha, we did try it indeed. He got so into his role and I just kept giggling hahaha! But that fit well with my role as a schoolgirl

Your story is so relatable. It's frustrating when you really want your husband to be more involved, but he says he wants another baby with you yet doesn't follow through. It's really tough and frustrating because it's not that much to ask for him to just do a few times of butt-to-the-wall sex around ovulation. That's all he needs to do. But right at that time, he usually doesn't want to. Unfortunately, you can't force it, that doesn't work. I don't have the solution for you, but know that you're not alone in this. -

10 months is still quite manageable, and here you really can't go to the GP until after 1 year. I don't know if you're already pregnant by now since we're 3 months further along. Otherwise, you could have gone to the GP for a referral
