Stff48, there is a line, I just edited the photo. I can see it now too, but it's still very faint. Especially for the negative or positive. I had such a line at 9 dpo. But that doesn't have to be the case for everyone, of course.

Mommy, that's even better if a line is visible
I hope for Bosje that the line becomes even clearer and she is pregnant. I wish that to everyone, by the way!
But there's no need to swear here yet

First off, girl? I'm a woman, and I can give my opinion if I feel someone comes across as preachy. Puck, you didn't mean it that way, so my apologies. Besides, I don't think 'Jesus' is really appropriate either. After 385 tests, I know how it works. We all want the same thing, but there's a group here that thinks only they have the right to respond. I've seen enough posts and find it funny that exactly these people have to react again in the way they ALWAYS do.

Funny that I never see you reply on the forum, but now you're giving multiple replies here. Do you maybe have another name here? Figure it out, Suzanne! Responding the way I always do? Yes, I'm just trying to be honest, if that's what you mean. More people should do that. -
Ilona36 #25
Yeah, that's Puck. She doesn't dare to respond under her own name.

Puck, just to be clear. I think you're an amazing person! At least you're honest, unlike some others here. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise, you're awesome!
And Bosje, I'm really rooting for you that things work out well. -

I’m not familiar with you on the forum either, and I do know quite a few names that I see come up every month in the due date threads, but that’s beside the point.
We’re just giving an honest answer; unfortunately, I can’t make it sound any nicer than it really is. I do find it a shame that a message written purely out of interest is perceived as “mean.” We only want to help by answering... so do we have to include dozens of smileys and use terms like “meis,” “schatje,” or “lieverdje”? No, straight to the point is best; you’re helped more that way than with a long story around it. But that’s just how I experience it.
Anyway, sending kisses back. It’s nice that we’re called “advocates.” And “sour women”—we’re not that sour. We’ve been at this for quite a while now and have experience with false positive tests too. Again, we just gave an answer as Bosje had asked. Honest and direct. But I understand that some people can’t handle that so well. That’s just how things go in this world these days, sorry.... -

Thank you, Nancy. That's so sweet of you. -

Bosje, you did indeed have a doubt test/negative test last month a few days after your O. That’s notable, because most people don’t test after O. Could it be that your O was later than you thought? Two late periods in a row is a pattern, so maybe there’s another reason why your cycle seems longer? A long luteal phase (it can also be 16 days) or maybe later ovulation, for example.
That doesn’t change the fact that I don’t see a line. I’d throw it away right after the recommended time. You’re driving yourself crazy like this
...
Hopefully you’ll test a nice clear positive next month!
And then I’ll interfere a bit anyway, despite my good intentions, because I’m bothered by this: if you’re confident in yourself, you don’t need to bring people down by swearing. Swearing always says more about the person swearing than about the person being sworn at. -

I'm going to use my head and just stay quiet because I'm about to explode from you, Suzanne...
Dear ladies, whom I've gotten to know over the past 3 years here... we all know what we've been through lately. Don't let anyone bring you down who thinks we're being so unpleasant. Because you are all incredible treasures & thank you for the support I've already received from you...
& Bosje, each of us sincerely hopes that you'll soon have a positive test in your hands

Thank you all for your answers and kind comments. I never cursed or anything like that. I hope for everyone here a positive test soon. Good luck to all, and if I can help by looking along, I'll gladly do so. -

I can see the line in the distance, but I'd still say negative for now. Usually, you see a bit more of a pink line with these tests.
Or maybe wait a few more days and test again.
Good luck!
@Puck, your response is just fine. An honest and clear answer to the person who asked the question on this forum. Keep up the good work. -

Bosje, I don't see you swearing anywhere either!
Are you going to track your cycle next month to see if your period is a bit later than usual? Or just wait and see? If all goes well, it'll turn positive on its own, of course.

Haha oh no, you got me with Puck, I'll leave it in the middle for now. I don't want to cause trouble for your circle if they're already getting upset about this here. I'm so glad that my life outside this forum is busy and fun enough that I don't have to respond to every NOD/am I pregnant/is there a line-forum.
I've also been pretty outspoken lately. -
stff48 #36
Suzanne, the better the more you have a busy and fun life... I think each of us has a very busy and fun life, you know
But I think each of us came to this forum for the same reason: to be able to talk about our deepest wish and to get and give advice... Because ultimately, you're kind of 'alone' somewhere, even if you have a big family and circle of friends, because not everyone around you understands why you might sometimes feel sad or something, because you don't always advertise medical problems... That's how I experience it, at least... So we're absolutely not pitiful or whatever...
This now by the way...
Bosje, how are you doing now? -

@Suzanne, do you really call yourself a 'woman' now? -

Stff48, things are good with me. I've made peace with it. I've been using ovulation tests for 3 months now, but without any results, so I'm not going to spend any more money on them. I'll just calmly wait and see what this month brings for us. I wish you all a beautiful New Year with lots of beautiful bellies! ???
