Thick evaporation line?

Good morning everyone, I've opened a new topic to keep things a bit separate. I have a question and hopefully you can help. I've had some bleeding on my period, which lasted for 2 days and then stopped. Three days after my period, I took a test and it seemed to show something, and now it looks like this. Is this an evaporation line? Or are you familiar with this kind of line? Can I still be pregnant? Hopefully, you can help me.

I'm afraid this is just negative. Especially so long after the NOD. I don't see anything... sorry...

Do you not see any line at all? I thought it was clearly visible. But yeah, I guess it’s probably an evaporation line, unfortunately.

    I think so, indeed.

I'm not good with hyphens, okay!
But you wouldn't expect that a few days after giving birth either.

Are you doing the tests according to the instructions? Light lines often show up at weird times... Read up on how it works, don't use too much urine, and throw them away after the reading time. That way you won't keep doubting. Anyway, if you're already days past your expected period, a very faint line is a sign.

    Hi,
I think I can see a very faint line. How many days exactly are you past your due date?
And Puck, it’s okay to respond a bit nicer.

A bit less preachy would also be nice, Suzanne...
Smiley to show that I'm not really that bad:

Umm Suzanne, I only see Puck giving a tip here.... Jesus!

I'm afraid this might also be an evaporation line. I've had much clearer results with the Kruidvat ones, and they were really pink... this one is too grey to be positive. You can't really be sure, so my advice if you're doubting is to take the test again tomorrow or the day after.

Oh yeah, and Puck gives a proper answer, and she put it more than well, it's just the truth what she says anyway.

What nasty and weird messages people send here. People come for advice, and I get that too, which is definitely nice, but come on, we're all adults, I assume. Can't we just help each other through this? I hope I can help you all, and thank you for your replies.

haha crawl even deeper Ilona and orchidea, are you her lawyers? a bunch of sour and bitter women
  13. Puck #14

Oh Suzanne, are you okay? Is it really necessary to swear?

@bosje: It's a shame that you found my message unpleasant. I am serious, though. Are you following the instructions for the tests? Anyway, I'd throw them away after the reading time. You read about evaporation lines here so often. It's pointless to check them again after a long time.

When was your period? How many days have passed since that bleeding? It could also be that you had an implantation that didn't go well and you still had some hCG in your body. By continuing to test, you'll find out naturally. If the next test shows an increase, that's good. A decreasing test, on the other hand, is not good.

Mommy, it's already the 4th day after my D&C. I think I should assume it didn't work out this time. Thanks for your replies, hopefully you'll find your baby soon.

    Crazy flute
  17. Orchidea #18

Oh, how bizarre this is again, seriously. And swearing is indeed not really necessary here..
  18. Leeuwtje #19

I’ve never had an evaporation line with these tests. A negative was always completely white. I’m seeing something faint here. Maybe you ovulated late and/or implanted late. Wait a few days and test again.

What is this again, seriously... These ladies are so kind to give honest answers and advice here. And then people start swearing and stuff? Come on, if anyone knows about these tests, it's them. Suzanne, this really doesn't fit at all, sorry. If you only knew how many of these tests we've all used... you'd open your eyes, girl...
& Bosje, sorry but I don't see anything either...
