Tips for night weaning?

Hi everyone! I hope someone has a tip for a silly problem: Our 15-month-old daughter is a great sleeper and goes to bed every night from 7 to 7. She sleeps straight through, as she has for almost a year now. She's also a tummy sleeper. Now, almost every morning she's quite wet from urine, soaking through her romper, pajamas, and sleep sack. During the day she wears Etos diapers size 4, and for the night we already bought a size up. We've also tried Pampers, but that made no difference. The diaper is completely saturated at the front and eventually just overflows. At the moment, I just change her clothes every day, and she doesn't seem bothered by it, so it's not a disaster, but I'm worried she'll get too cold in winter. I'd hate to have to wake her at night to change her. Has anyone had the same problem and found a solution?

No tip from me, but I've heard people put two diapers on top of each other. Not sure if that's practical though, but wet clothes aren't either
I'm curious to hear more tips. We had this issue a while back too (also a belly sleeper and leaking), but it suddenly stopped. We use Kruidvat diapers.

    Double diapering.
    1. Put on a diaper the right way and another diaper backwards over it.

Unfortunately, very relatable. At our place, only Kruidvat diapers work at night. Pampers also leak. Never tried Etos.
Also a tummy sleeper and she sleeps long, now switched to Kruidvat size 5 at night and that's going well. They are still quite big so during the day she still wears size 4.

Hi Puck, I don't know if it makes a difference, but my son (18 months) has been wearing size 5 for a long time. He did have chubby cheeks, so that could be the reason, even though he hadn't reached the weight class yet (I think it's from 11kg).

    Hey Puck.

My daughter also sleeps on her tummy and kept leaking. We now use diaper pants size 4. She normally wears size 3, but size 4 sits a bit higher and fits snugly so she doesn't leak anymore! Really never again.

I've heard that they put diapers on backwards for boys. Maybe you could try that? Seems really tricky to me! I also find the Kruidvat ones nice. The Baby Dry diapers leak here unless we go up a size. (She wears them from 8 pm to 6 am, sometimes a bit longer)

Is there a problem here too.. I also use Etos diapers. Switching to the plus size helps now in general. When he was smaller (now 2.5), I used to give him a fresh diaper before I went to sleep, that was the only thing that helped back then. But I don't do that anymore because then he wakes up right away.

Wow, so many replies. I'll try a few things. Thanks for the tips.

My daughter had that too for a while around that age. We tried all kinds of diapers but it made no difference. I often folded over the top edge at the front, which helped, but then she’d sometimes leak from the side. Make sure you don’t give her too much to drink right before bedtime, that helped here too. Luckily it was just a phase, and now I let her walk around for 20 minutes in the morning before changing her. She hardly pees at night but a lot in the morning

Hi! My son used to leak at night too. Every morning I had to change and wash everything. I now use a size bigger from Kruidvat (size 5). I also don’t give him milk before bed anymore. I give him something to drink for the last time an hour before bedtime.

Put the diaper on backwards. That saves a lot. We also had a tummy sleeper and everything was soaking wet every day.

Two diapers. First put on 4 and then a size 5 over them.
