Hi everyone,

My partner and I have been trying for a baby for a while now. So far, no luck. Last month I was 2 days late, but unfortunately got my period anyway. Tomorrow is my expected date and I'm feeling different than usual. This week I've been nauseous a lot with heartburn, and I've had a metallic taste in my mouth. I've also been really tired and had to pee a lot. I've been feeling weird little pops around or inside my womb. I'm not sure how to describe it exactly. And I have a really bloated belly. I really hope it worked out this time. How did you feel when you didn't know you were pregnant yet? I'm really curious.

I didn't feel anything at all During the months I was pregnant, I felt nothing, at most some stomach cramps (like when you're getting your period).
Why don't you just take a test?

The tests are ready, I just haven't dared to use them yet, haha. I guess I'm afraid of disappointment. I want to wait a bit to see what happens tomorrow. If I don't get my period, I'll test first thing Thursday morning. Last month I wanted to test 2 days after my expected period, and then I saw I had already gotten my period. So now I'll test earlier, haha.

I didn't feel anything until 6 weeks, indeed as Kruimel says, some cramps, but I usually had those around my period too. Until I suddenly noticed I was already two weeks late, and my breasts became a bit heavier and more tender, only then did I take a test.

You can just test it out now, that'll definitely give you some kind of result. But you have to decide for yourself, of course. I didn't feel anything at all around NOD either. So I'm curious! The things you described, I had those too, but only at 5.5 weeks.

And indeed, just test it out. You can do it a day before your period, that's fine. Some tests only turn positive after your missed period, so don't be disappointed if it's (still) negative!

I felt a few twinges in my uterus around the time of implantation. After that, I had cramps as if my period was finally going to start. I had these cramps until 6 weeks of pregnancy, and it turned out to be the uterus growing. But it could just as well have been the prelude to my period. Otherwise, I felt nothing and only started feeling nauseous for the first time at 7 weeks.

I also think every month that I really feel different now than usual.
Plopjes, sore breasts, nipples feel different now, tired, twinges, etc.

But when I was pregnant, I just knew for sure that it was. Even though you feel all sorts of things every month, once it really happened, it was still different. And then it's also different for everyone, to make it easy.

You can convince yourself with symptoms... But in the end, you'll just have to test.
