Who oh who?

Hi fellow mamas,

I’m new here and mostly stopping by with a specific goal in mind. But let me introduce myself briefly first—I’m not really big on sharing too much private info online, but in short: I’m a newlywed mama in my late 20s with a little boy who’s almost 18 months old. We live together with the best dad I could have ever dreamed of for my son, near Ghent, and we both work full-time. My husband works a pretty hectic shift system (early/late/night) where he often works many days in a row. Luckily, I have a dream child (my own child, right? …) who sleeps through the night well and can play independently for long stretches during the day. But this brings me to my question:

Since my son is so independent and my husband works a lot, I often find myself just lounging in the chair on weekends.
I can always do household chores (but not for 5 hours straight, of course) or visit family—but not everyone is always available, not everyone lives nearby, and not everyone appreciates it when you show up at their door every weekend for two days or three weeks in a row :-)

So I’m actually looking for a mama with a daughter or son around the same age as my boy, someone who enjoys occasional playdates, preferably someone from the area… Someone who likes to chat—that’s pretty important. Someone who’s also a good listener. And someone who enjoys a coffee or a glass of wine is a bonus ;-)

Before this starts to look more like Tinder than a kids’ forum, I’ll wrap up.
I don’t expect many replies, so I’d already be really happy if just one person was interested. I debated long and hard about posting this, but I have nothing to lose.
