Blood values

Hi everyone,

I've been away for a while, but I've been just as busy with our baby wish. I had my blood drawn and the results are taking way too long, but I can already see the values. I did some Googling but didn't really get any clearer. Do you know what the "progesterone" value means? Mine is 9.3. And the "LH" value is 14.70. Those two were in red, so now I'd really like to know what they mean...

    Hi there!
Hopefully, you'll soon get an explanation for the results!
I found this overview, which basically shows which result corresponds to which phase of your cycle. But I don't think you can really draw any conclusions from it.

Hi Moon. Progesterone is the hormone that keeps an egg (hopefully fertilized) alive so it can develop into a pregnancy. If the egg isn't fertilized, progesterone levels drop and you get your period. Based on your level and the list from Floydi, it seems like you've already ovulated. Before ovulation, your progesterone is around 1-3, and in the luteal phase (after ovulation) it should be between 12-60. I think your progesterone might be a bit low since it should be at least 12. It helps to know where you are in your cycle to draw conclusions. If you're before your period, it's possible that your progesterone is dropping again because the egg wasn't fertilized.
