No, not really, but maybe you can adjust the due date of that pregnancy. That might be possible somewhere in your profile. It's annoying that you can't delete it more easily.

When you go down on your profile, under the location where your baby is listed, there’s an option to edit, and there you’ll find a delete option.

Oh yes, it worked, thank you!

When is your due date, Lisa?

June 17th. I did ovulation tests to get a rough idea of the chances of conception, in case something went wrong with the condom. I had a positive ovulation test yesterday and today. So it seems unlikely that conception would still happen at that point. If any sperm did get in, there probably weren't many.

I had a lot of abdominal pain yesterday, almost like period cramps. My breasts/nipples were also tender. Now all that has gone away. So maybe the ovulation has already happened. I have no idea, I always find it so hard to figure out.

Sperm can live in your body for 5-7 days. The chance is super small, but it's definitely a possibility. It's weird that he's so convinced everything went well and then gets mad at you. Wasn't he out and then back in? And he even lost track of him. Did you ask how that worked out?

Yeah, there's a small chance and that's driving me crazy. I haven't asked him about the condom anymore. I'm afraid I'll just irritate him more and if I say I'm pregnant, he'll completely stop responding.

At the time we had sex, I also had fertile mucus. I haven't had that since yesterday. I can't figure out my ovulation. The ovulation test is super positive, but based on my body's signals, ovulation should have already happened. There's nothing else to do but wait. Probably I'll just get my period and I'll have worried for nothing. If I am pregnant, it's welcome for me, but his reaction makes me a little scared.

Are you trying to get pregnant without realizing it? Since you were pregnant a few weeks ago and now had some half-unsafe sex?
In a relationship, you can trust your partner, but in one-night stands, you can’t trust the other person with your body and future. Be smart and take the lead on contraception or accept that you might end up having a child with a random stranger... whatever floats your boat, I guess.

I know, I was too trusting. Back when I wasn't on the pill, a man always put on the condom. That's how I'm used to it. Actually, the man should have control over the condom until the end. If you're not wet enough, you'll only notice that when he tries to go inside. By then, a small tear could already have occurred. Also, after the act, the man should pull out immediately while still erect and hold the condom firmly. In our case, he stayed inside me for a few more minutes, which made him go soft and gave the condom room to move. He also didn't hold the condom properly, so it came off when he pulled out. Do I have to guide this whole process like a stressed-out chicken? That could work. But that's a huge mood killer, even for afterwards. It creates stress before anything is even wrong. This is the first time in 10 years that I've used a condom again, due to having a regular partner. So yes, I trusted it, but apparently not every man takes condoms that seriously, or they don't have the knowledge. I also know that no one has an answer to this right now, so I'll just wait and see.

Aha, it was a one-time one-night stand. Yeah, I mean I wouldn't really be prepared for that, how and what then, haha, after being with my guy for so many years now. I wouldn't dare rely on a condom anyway because it can go wrong quickly if you don't use it properly. Here, an IUD. A thousand times fewer side effects than the pill and very safe because it doesn't depend on taking it on time or using it correctly. It'll probably turn out to be fine; most people don't get pregnant from one half-safe/unprotected encounter!

Exciting, Lisa! And of course, you can't predict everything. But for next time, maybe after he's finished, instead of letting him stay in for a few minutes (I personally don't find that very comfortable, hehe), ask him to step out for a bit. Can you still cuddle afterwards to keep the mood going? Wishing you lots of strength for the coming days!

Let me know how it goes? And do you want kids?

I do want kids, but this last time wasn't meant to result in a pregnancy. I want a stable relationship before I consciously start trying for children. That's why we used a condom, and of course to prevent STIs. I'm feeling a bit less panicked now. My ovulation was last Saturday/Sunday, so the only thing I can do is wait calmly until I get my period. I'll let you know by then. Thanks for your advice.
