Pregnant after conization
Who has become pregnant after a cone biopsy?
I'm 36 now and last April, during my 5-yearly smear test at age 35, I was told I had Pap 3b. I had a colposcopy in May and it turned out I had Pap 3b, CIN 3. Damaged tissue was removed, and the culture showed I needed a cone biopsy because there was more damaged tissue than they initially thought. I had the cone biopsy in June. A large part of the cervix was removed under general anesthesia. I went back for a check-up in November and everything looked great again. LUCKILY! The HPV virus was also gone. I got the green light to try for a baby. I don't have to return for a smear test until April 2020.
I already have a 12-year-old son from a previous relationship. We're now in cycle 6. Who has been pregnant (or has been) (35+) after a cone biopsy?
In which cycle did it work?
I'll give it 3 more cycles and then I'll make an appointment with the gynecologist anyway.
I'd just really like to hear from ladies who have gone through something similar.
