I took a test but there's still a faint line.
It's hard to get it on camera, it's a 2 weeks 5 days pregnancy.

  1. Baby05 started this #2

The tests were white at first, no second line to be seen.

Hi baby05, you had this before too, right? Did you find out anything? What could be the reason for always getting positive tests but no ongoing pregnancy? Normally I’d say yes, positive, but given your history, it’s tricky. Did you have positive tests before your period? Was your period lighter than usual or heavier?

Hi Clautjuh, last time I had a miscarriage and the tests after were all white. I don’t know, maybe age? Old eggs or maybe something else, Clautjuh?
No, I didn’t test before my period because they were white before. I had my period with tissue and clots.
    But now there’s this test.

Oh yeah, Clautjuh, last time the GP did want to refer me but I had to do a blood test first and it was less than 0.5. So not pregnant. That was the time when everyone said I should go to the GP.
She said: nothing wrong and sent me away again.

I still need to say something, Clautjuh, otherwise it's not complete.
I was "on my period" for the last time in December, from the 13th to the 17th. Then I started the pill on January 11th and took it for 3 weeks. I didn't get my period in January. I started bleeding from the 3rd to the 7th of February...

I'm afraid I think your age has something to do with it. You've been trying off and on for quite a while, getting faintly positive tests each time, but it seems like something goes wrong after implantation anyway. It could have other causes too, but you shouldn't rule out age. Really frustrating to have those positive tests but no lasting pregnancy yet!

Baby, as I've said before: I'd go see the gynecologist. At least, I wouldn't consider this test positive given your story.

Thank you so much, girls, for the responses.

Your story sounds like Lotus's here. Talk to her.
  11. Baby05 #12

@ Anon, I already know about Lotus, thanks for your attention.

Here is it's weird because the test has gotten darker...…. I thought it would fade!
  12. Baby05 #13

Is there really that much difference?
  13. Anonymous Guest #14

    That looks pregnant to me.
  14. Moedertjuh #15

That's a good sign, baby05, now let's hope they stay so dark!
  15. Baby05 #16

    Oh ….. really Anonymous?
Clautjuh, could it possibly be a pregnancy???
  16. Baby05 #17

Oh sorry Puck, I missed that.
The GP only did a blood test last time and didn't refer me to the OB-GYN?
I did ask, but she didn't think it was necessary.

Baby, we hear this from you regularly. Every so often you come back here with lines that go up and down, but whenever we say you should go see the gynecologist, there's always some reason why you haven't been. Or you get upset about the replies. Or you just stop responding and then come back a few weeks later with the same story. I just don't understand what you're trying to achieve by posting this again and again. I'm even starting to wonder if you're serious.

Look, I wish everyone a healthy pregnancy, including you. But given the dozens of lines we've already seen, even at times in your cycle when it's impossible for you to be pregnant, I really think something's off. I also have a hard time believing that your GP sends you away, no matter what you tell us—namely, that you've had positive pregnancy tests going up and down for over a year. Since you're only on cycle day 10 and you were still on the pill, I don't believe you're pregnant, sorry.
  18. Baby05 #19

Puck, the GP knows about this, of course. That's not the issue.
And things just happen as they do, so you do keep showing the tests, right?
    So it's real.
I was indeed on the pill because I was allowed to stop at 46 now, but then I get a test with no lighter line or no line, so actually a darker line again.
Can I not share how things are going for a bit?
And I'd like to hear, or read, the responses honestly.
It's actually weird, I went on the pill, first it missed a month, and now a clear line after bleeding???

For me, that's also positive, but I'd still recommend checking with your gynecologist because it's quite strange. We've been trying since the end of November, and honestly, I'm not sure if there's still one more coming because there are too many negative points when I look at everything closely.
