Ahhh I hope so for you too! That your period stays away nicely hehe! You mentioned you already had two kids, right? Did you have any specific symptoms back then?

I still feel the same as always haha, nothing weird going on. I've just been less hungry lately; when I do eat, I feel full for a really long time.

I hope I keep feeling this way and that I don't get my period. I'll keep you posted! I really hope so! I can't really imagine being pregnant ever. Seems so magical to me. We really want a little family.

I hope so for you too, Naad, I wish it for you so much! Actually, I hardly had any symptoms, just regular irregular cramps that never got very strong. With my son (the oldest), I didn't even have any nausea or anything. With my daughter (the youngest), I was occasionally a bit nauseous, but nothing significant. Our daughter is 7, so it's all quite a while ago. We were actually done with kids, but because of fibroids on my uterus it looked like it would have to be removed completely, so we suddenly got a whole different perspective on 'whether or not to have another child'. It was so special, because I had never expected to start again. Meanwhile, I've had surgery and the fibroids were removed last year (luckily found a gynecologist who could save my uterus). So it's doubly exciting for me if it's a hit, because sometimes fear creeps in. We had an open abdominal surgery.

Jesus, that's intense! Luckily, you got to have two healthy kids! I hope one more can come! And I'm glad you're doing well. You've really had some thrilling and scary moments. But then I understand that you suddenly look at it differently. Really intense stuff. Do you have a regular cycle? You often hear that some people don't have any symptoms at all. I notice "still" nothing. Just a very slight bloated feeling or restless feeling in my womb. But nothing else. (fingers crossed) I usually always get a standard migraine or really bad stomach pain before my period, so then I know okay, I'm getting my period. Hopefully, it's a hit now, I have no patience haha, wish it was Wednesday already.

Thanks for your kind words, Naad! Yeah, it could totally be a hit for you too. I usually get really bad headaches before every period, but this time, definitely not. I do have a pretty regular cycle, but my second-to-last cycle was suddenly 25 days. I heard from everyone around me that their periods came much earlier than expected, so it probably had something to do with the moon, hahaha. But normally it's always exactly 28 days. That's why I'm not so sure about my cycle this month. If I go by 28 days, I should be due tomorrow, but my egg was released very late, only on the 17th, so adding 14 days to that means I should have a longer cycle. Crazy how the body works, right? Do you feel any cramps?

You're welcome hihi! No, I don't feel anything yet! Just a bit of a bloated lower belly. My cats are really cuddling with me and dabbing their paws on my belly haha, and then it does feel sensitive. But otherwise, no period symptoms yet... My cycle is also weird. One time 28 days, then suddenly 26, then 27, then 26 again. And in December it was suddenly 25 days! So yeah, it could have been yesterday, but also today, tomorrow, or the day after haha! Quite annoying, but I can only wait. I tested positive with my ovulation test on a Sunday. That was when the highest peak was. Two weeks later would be today. I really hope that every time I don't feel anything haha. Only yesterday all day long, so tense breasts. I've never had that really. And now that's suddenly not there anymore either.

It's exciting, isn't it? Do you think the cats might sense something? Or do they do that more often? Well, it's cute, hihi.

(Oh, by the way, I made a calculation on that site, with ovulation date 17-01 because I clearly felt it then, and this is the result regarding the likelihood of a positive test...)
  7. Asya Guest #27

can't get it to work to add a photo, haha. Anyway, according to the calculator on the site, a positive test today was very unlikely.

Hmm, so that means you still have to wait a bit, right? I think the photo upload isn't working because you haven't created an account yet.

Yeah, they say animals can sense it earlier than you can haha. I'm curious. Yeah, they do it more often, but not really directed at my belly

The tension here is sooo high at times. And then again the disappointment that it might be nothing. How are you feeling now? Still the same?
  10. naad started this #30

Yeah, just a bit of a weird feeling in my lower belly. Like something is pressing on my bladder and that’s making it hurt or something? Or my uterus? No idea, it’s a strange pressing sensation. But not like a period feeling, well it could still come, of course. But it’s definitely a weird feeling, and you??
  11. Asya Guest #31

I totally have that same feeling. It’s such a weird sensation of ‘presence’ from your uterus. I also had two deep little twinges today, down on the left side of my belly. They lasted for a while and then stopped, only to come back a bit later. It felt a bit like what I feel with ovulation. Meanwhile, I’m really frustrated. I’m practically screaming from the pain in my shoulder (bursitis), but I’ve looked into it and diclofenac increases the risk of miscarriage and fetal heart defects. So I’m upset about having double the uncertainty. Tears are welling up in my eyes when I move my arm the wrong way. ????

Oh wow, that’s really crappy! And paracetamol? That doesn’t help at all? Get plenty of rest and try not to do too much. (Easy to say with two kids, pff!) Sending strength and get well soon! It’s quite strange that you’re feeling the same way! I’m really curious for both of us!
  13. Asya Guest #33

I'm so curious too. Really, I wish it even more for you than for myself!!
  14. naad started this #34

I seriously just had the same stabbing feeling, like ovulation, indeed.
  15. Asya Guest #35

would it then after all... hahaha we're driving ourselves crazy here

Hahaha really! Can you create an account? Then I can more easily see if you sent a message via Private Chat. I keep refreshing every time to see if I have a reply hahaha! But super sweet of you, thanks! We hope so too.
  17. Asya #37

Hi Naad, I hope I've successfully created an account by now. Hope it worked out. How did you manage to get through the day today? I had so many household plans, laundry, ironing, etc., but didn't get anything done. Not to mention the pain, and I just couldn't get off the couch, no energy at all.
  18. naad started this #38

If all goes well, I’ve sent you a message now!
  19. Orchidea #39

Yes. I had really sore breasts around my due date. You really notice the difference!

Unfortunately, I got my period pff
