Sensitive, sore breasts

Hi girls! Three more days and then I can test! So exciting! I didn't have any symptoms until yesterday and today. I get occasional twinges in my breasts or just a weird painful feeling. It's not constant. And when I touch them myself, I don't feel it. Are there others who experience this or have experience with it? I never have breast pain during my periods either, so I find it so strange!

    Hi Naad,
We're on the same page—I also have my NOD in 3 days. I secretly tested on Thursday and Friday (probably way too early), but unfortunately, it was negative. I'm feeling quite a few things that I also felt before, but it still feels a bit different this time. Your body can play tricks on you like that. I don't know what to think anymore.

Ah that's funny that we're on exactly the same track!!! Yeah, your body can really play tricks on you. If you're paying attention to it every day, you'll start feeling all sorts of things.

By the way, today I'm feeling quite a bit of 'pregnancy' crampy discomfort. So, on the other hand, I think that in a few days I'll just be pregnant. My husband also said today, don't think it's the real thing though..????

We've been at this for 6 months, and every month I was pretty much doing it every day. And yeah, I felt all sorts of things—thought I was pregnant because I was more sensitive to smells, moody, or had a headache, you name it. Disappointment after disappointment. At one point, I was so done with that sadness and pain that I kind of let it go last December and just enjoyed Christmas and New Year's. Early January, I did ovulation tests again because I have irregular cycles. So I did it right on the right days. But after those days, I just did my thing and enjoyed the days with my boyfriend, watching movies, etc. Doing fun things together. And now I noticed no symptoms because you're not focusing on it. Only today and yesterday my breasts felt a bit tender. But it's always exciting every month, you can't change that. I'm debating whether to test tomorrow or wait a bit longer. I could actually get my period today or not until Tuesday.

Ah, thank you! Yes, we're really hoping for it too! I'll let you know! And good luck to you too, hehe. Do you have regular cycles?

Ahhh, that's nice if you have regular cycles, indeed. Uhm, today I have more tender breasts or something, not really painful but different than usual? I think I'll do a test tomorrow, if it's negative and I still don't get my period, we'll test again on Wednesday... I'm curious!

I still have one Action test left at home. I'd really like to take it tomorrow too (I tested negative on Thursday and Friday), but I really don't feel like going back to Action to buy a new one, hahaha. That's why I'm seriously considering just saving this test for my expected period on Tuesday or Wednesday. Where do you get your tests? I heard that Ovu tests also measure hCG, so maybe you could try using one of those first tomorrow?

Ah snap! My ovulation tests were Clear Blue ones that worked super well! I need to buy more tests tomorrow since I'm out haha, just grabbing the store brand for now. Or maybe check for more Clear Blue, hehe.

    Good morning Naad,
Are you going to test today? I'm really hesitating myself. Haven't been to the toilet yet, so I could still test with morning urine... what to do aaaaaaargh
  10. naad started this #11

Heee! Yeah, I just woke up and already got dressed haha. The drugstore doesn't open until 10!!!! So I still have to wait haha. But I also haven't peed yet. Pffff, it's kind of scary. I guess it's just negative anyway.
  11. Asya Guest #12

I'm cheering so hard for you, girl!!!! So exciting. Of course I couldn't resist testing myself... OMO white. So on the one hand I think, well, it probably isn't. On the other hand, this would be 10 days after ovulation for me, and then there was only a very small chance the test would be positive (according to that one site. Hahaha yeah, that keeps me busy, right. But I'm not buying another test unless I'm a week late. What I do feel bad about is that I've had a lot of pain in my shoulder today and really want to take diclofenac for it, but then I think, what if I am pregnant after all... is that okay then??

Yeah, I’m already taking it into account everywhere! Regarding food and medications, because, well, you know. I don’t dare to test. I think I’ll just wait until Wednesday. I have a feeling my period might suddenly appear out of nowhere.

Maybe it was too early for you to test too? Maybe you should both just wait the old-fashioned way for your period haha!
  14. naad started this #15

For me, it's about 13-14 days past ovulation.
  15. Asya Guest #16

The best thing is to just wait. But after 13 or 14 days past ovulation, there's a good chance of a positive test (according to the site). It's still exciting, right? And patience is sometimes hard to come by.
  16. naad started this #17

Well, I bought pregnancy tests haha. I'm still thinking about whether I'll do it later today or on Wednesday. But then you'd have a short cycle too, wouldn't you?
  17. Asya Guest #18

Still managed to get it, Naad. Exciting. If you test later, it probably won't be with morning urine, I think. Then you'd have the best chance, right?
  18. naad started this #19

Yeah, I already tested and now tested with actually not morning urine. And it was negative. Well, now just wait for the red devil to come
  19. Asya Guest #20

Aaah, annoying sis, but whether or not you have morning pee can sometimes make all the difference, right? So no blood gives hope, doesn't it? I'm still rooting for you hard. I've decided for myself today that it probably won't be him after all. I have cravings, occasional cramps. And everything seems like an upcoming period within a few days. But deep down, secretly, there's still a tiny spark of hope, hehe. How are you feeling?
