Two periods in one month

Hi ladies,

My period started again in November after giving birth in September. I'm happy about that. But... now it's December and I'm on my period for the second time this month. I've never had this before. Is this normal, or should I call the doctor? Maybe someone can advise me.

    It’s normal and can still be irregular for about half a year. Unless you reset with the pill, but otherwise your body might need a little time to adjust.

    Got my period twice this month too. And it lasted almost 1.5 weeks each time.

    I gave birth in December, but I can't make sense of it either. Sometimes I go more than once a month, and then when I do, it's 1 or 2 days in a row with nothing in between, and then it starts up again. I find it weird too, but they say my hormones might still be all over the place, and since I'm also pumping, that could partly explain it. But it's not really pleasant.
