Late period or miscarriage?

I'd love your thoughts on this...
A few days ago, I was 10 days late (based on my longest cycle + 1). I took a test 5 days late, and it was negative. Even though I clearly had tender breasts, acid reflux, and nausea. I decided to wait a week.
After being 10 days late, I suddenly got light pink spotting, very minimal, and felt no cramps at all. By afternoon it had stopped, so I thought it might be implantation bleeding. However, a day later I started getting a stinging pain in my lower abdomen. And another day later, bleeding started. Much heavier than my previous periods. Now I'm wondering if it's just my period, albeit very late, or if it's a miscarriage despite the negative pregnancy test?

Hi! I had that too and was wondering about it myself. I have an appointment with my gynecologist on Friday and will ask him about it. In my case, they came a week early, and I also have a regular cycle. And it was much more intense than a normal period. I had period-like pain for two weeks straight, whereas normally I only get that pain at the time of my period.
