Heart palpitations, dizzy

Hi ladies,
I'm curious if anyone recognizes this and maybe has some tips.
Last week, I ended up at the doctor's post twice with a few symptoms: palpitations, fast heartbeat, sweating, dizziness, and a feeling of being rushed. My hemoglobin was fine, blood pressure was a bit low but not extreme. Urine was normal, no flu or fever. The doctor insists that the cause lies in the blood pressure that can sometimes drop, or that a large blood vessel in the abdomen gets compressed when you sit or lie on your back. But both times, I was lying calmly in bed on my side. It makes me anxious, and I'm not sure what to do with this. Does anyone else experience something similar?

How are you sleeping? I've been there too. I was just so exhausted. Once I got some good rest, it went away. Not all at once, but after a few days.

I'm sleeping pretty well. I stayed home from work for a week last week to catch up. And yet, it suddenly started up again last night..

Don't take on too much hay on your fork at home? Especially since you need energy for two. Otherwise, call the gynecologist.

I had that too when I was lying in bed. Dizzy, nauseous feeling in my head. Got advice to eat salty licorice or keep it next to my bed just in case it happened again... And it really helped. Turns out my blood pressure was sometimes dropping suddenly.
Found it really scary, but felt a bit better after taking some extra salt.

Yeah, I got that advice too, indeed. But I ate plenty of salty food all week long, and still ended up in bed because it went wrong again...

Does it happen on both sides? I thought there was a higher chance on one side than the other. I just don't remember which one anymore.

Maybe it also helps to elevate your head a bit more (extra pillow). (I just realized that I had it too when I lay on my back, I think).

Yeah, you're right, the left side is the best to lie on. But that's exactly where I was lying when it got so intense. That's why I don't get it. I'm going to the GP this afternoon, maybe they can tell me more. The doctor on call suggested making an appointment; they thought it might be related to the thyroid???

And do you know more, flower? Is it getting any better already?

It's already better. I still have a constant kind of ringing in my head, tinnitus. Occasionally, I still get that muffled feeling out of nowhere and feel a bit dizzy. The GP thinks it was an inflammation of the balance organ. There's nothing much to do about it, so hopefully, it stays away now.

Oh yeah, that's possible, I had a friend who had that. But she really couldn't get out of bed for a while. Tough stuff. Good luck with it.

Oh really? How long did she have this issue here? I only spent 1 to 2 days in bed, and then it gradually got better. Now I still occasionally have a moment where it comes back in a mild way.
