First shots

Tomorrow my 9-week-old son is getting his first shots! I'm super nervous!
Are there any mamas with tips?
I heard that a bottle of milk afterwards helps, and a warm washcloth on top.
Thanks in advance!

Hey girl, I was super nervous but it wasn't necessary at all. I breastfed my little boy right before the shots (it helps with pain). Then he got his shots; he had a slight fever at home but he handled it well. Good luck girl haha stay strong.

I don't know if you're aware of this, but you can postpone the vaccinations until they're a bit older. It saves you and your baby a lot of stress. I didn't know this at first either, but some acquaintances of mine did it and pointed it out to us, so we brought it up during the home visit by the district nurse who talks about the first appointment at the CB. Well, that went well; she herself said that more and more parents choose this option. You should look up what's in those vaccines, then you'll understand our choice.

what I forgot to mention is that it's not so much the fear of the pain of the shot you need to have, but more the fear of what's in the shot and the adjuvants and what that might cause in the long term. They don't inform parents about this. And they don't tell you that it's better to delay it because the substances in the shot are hard on the body.
