Hesitating between 2 boy names

We're torn between two boy names for our first baby: Tor or Leo?
What comes to mind when you hear each name?

    Tor makes me think of an insect right away. We also call those beetles "tor" in Dutch. So I'd go for Leo, it's a great name!

    Congratulations! Leo is fine, but I’d personally go for Leon. It’s a bit less old-fashioned.
    Tor has a nice sound to me, but I don’t like the spelling. I’d change it to Thor. That way it’s more associated with the mythological figure than with a beetle. (See: https://nl.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thor)

    When I hear Tor, I immediately think of an insect, definitely Leo.

    I'd also go for Thor or Leon. But which of the two, I'm not sure... I think I find Thor a bit more cool!

    Tor... does remind me of an insect, indeed. I'd go for Leo too, nice and easy internationally and timeless. And otherwise for Thor (but I find that less appealing).

    Haha we had a huge infestation of beetles this summer, so indeed a beetle name. I do pronounce Thor differently and can happily keep choosing what you think is nice, just avoid the animals

    Both are nice. I'd choose Thor instead of Tor.

    Hmm, I don't find either of them very pretty. I'd rather go with Leon.
