First IVF treatment

Hi members,

I'm new to this forum. After 13 rounds of trying, still no result. In a month, our journey begins and we're going to the fertility clinic. Can someone tell me what to expect?

    Hi Babyhope,

    That's really tough to read, that after 13 rounds you're still not pregnant.
    But it's good to hear that you're getting help.
    You'll first need to discuss everything with the fertility doctor, and you'll get an internal ultrasound to see if everything looks okay.
    They'll also ask you about how your cycle goes.
    My tip: Keep track of your temperature in advance and maybe start using ovulation tests. That way you'll get a good idea of your cycle yourself.
    Your blood will also be tested for various things.
    Your partner's/man's sperm will also be tested.
    Once all the results are in, the doctor will give advice. IUI, IVF or ICSI.

    We just had round 13 too, and unfortunately no pregnancy. My partner's sperm was tested last week, and everything was fine. In a month, we'll be seeing a fertility specialist at the hospital. It's all quite nerve-wracking..
