Health insurance

Hi hi,

I have a question for which I unfortunately haven't found an answer on the internet yet.

Next year, my partner and I are getting married. After that, we want to start trying for a baby. If everything goes according to plan, I hope to be pregnant in the last quarter of 2019. Should I already adjust my health insurance for 2019? Or can I do that only at the end of 2019 for the year 2020? I have no idea what costs I might expect already? Can insurers refuse supplementary insurance if you are already pregnant? I know, for example, that this is the case when you want to get supplementary insurance for dental costs. The insurer can refuse that supplementary insurance if you already have bad teeth.

I hope you all have more experience with this. Thanks in advance for your replies.

Greetings, Inger

No, I was supposed to give birth in February and switched for the new year.

It's about your due date. You never know exactly when you really got pregnant, but in your case, I'd probably adjust it to 2019 right away.
